Rome II takes ETERNITY to update!

What the heck is up with steam updating Rome II? It hangs, sometimes for an hour or more. This tiny updates should be done in less than a minute. The new tiny patch is just doing diddly-squat. No nada. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH

1. Post at technical support section atleast.
2. Now that I think of it, did this need own thread at all? What do you expect people to response, send solution to your problem?
3. Contact Steam support maybe? Or your net-provider.

If it helps, it worked fine for me, so it is either Steam, or problem at your end.

I haven't had this experience...maybe your steam download server was lagging? I switch my download region temporarily when this kind of thing happens with other games.

Also, be glad you are getting an update at all.

When Steam is updating a game and it appears to you as if the updating process is idle, launch the game. A tiny window will popup giving you an ETA with active status bar. Doing this seems to make it considerably faster for some reason.
