Macedonia. A small country in the north of Greece. By the middle of IV century BC the country was on the verge of collapse. It seemed the name "Macedonia" would disappear from the map of the world forever but something unexpected happened: in 359 BC King Perdiccas III was killed in a battle and instead the army decided to give the Macedonian throne to Philip who was a brother of Perdiccas .... He was an experienced and sophisticated politician who fought all his life with his freedom-loving neighbors like Greeks, Thracians and Illyrians. He fought not for the gain of his kingdom but for the sake of its survival. The victory meant to him increasing his authority in the Balkans and the greatness of Macedonia when defeat meant a threat to the. Valuable incredible efforts the country, which was destined to become the greatest, sprang .... These developments took place while a deep crisis was destroying the Greek world and the largest Persian uprising had broken out in Asia Minor also. But Macedonia is not the coolest faction in the mod. Balance is built in a such way that each faction has a chance for success. Play is a fun for everybody! Battle is coming, the battle for Hellas ...

Now available for download version 0.6. It has all of the posted above. However, please remember that the mod is currently available only in Russian, and there is an unexpected problem with the installer. Most English-speaking people cannot view displayed font and this complicates the installation.. I give the URL to the installer and a simple archive Rar. English version of installer and mod localisation we planned in a new version which in active development at this time. News about it will be given in the near future.

very good work! i found your mod on a russian side some month ago and was able to download an install (find the temporary extracted files) but i didn´t have Alex on my desk.
Is it possible for the BfH-team to add BI.exe or create an exe option?

In the matter of Alex. You need only Alex exe. to play the BFH. Not the whole Alex addon. So we can give You a link to this exe if You havn't got it.

You used BI.exe for playing the BFH, but the number of units is limited in this case, so it's exceeded.
You have to use Alex.exe to play the game and you won't have any problems because Alex gives the posibility to use much more units in the mod.

CTD upon loading, some issue with model battle text file

First HIlyarchia ? i think there is one typo in the Descr_model_battle or in the Export_descr_unit (i think it's the first).
Check the entry for this unit, check the textures and cas. files names. All you need to do, if i am right is to correct any typo on that unit entry.

In this link you will find the file i edited to correct and play BFH. Or so i believe it has been a while. Back the original file in any case before you replace.

The mod is working well (have to add sertorio´s fix too). Great work! Started a game as athen and makedonia. Also great music by the way.
i also downloaded an english patch 0,97 some month ago - but if i install this english patch the game ctd. is there an actual version available?

With using of Installer:
Run the installer, show the folder and install. English-speaking users may have problems with fonts that will complicate the installation or make it impossible. If you have such a problem, you have to install the RARversion.

Installing the RAR version:
1) Unzip it into the root folder of RTW.
2) Create rtwa.exe shortcut (if you have not installed add-on - http://yadi.sk/d/tPz60T697fZ-e ) at the desktop.
3) Go to the properties of the shortcut and add -show_err-mod: BFH-nm in the "object" ( there must be a blank after a colon).
