Greetings fellow plebeians, here is the sub-section of my current works that are in motion as of now. Enjoy!

This was my first hard surface character that I worked on, before Zbrush came out with some nifty tools to help the process in hard surfacing:

I'll update this if I have anything significant to show. Cheers!

Very nice models there! Your gallery deserves a better name than just a 'dump'.

I nick name it a dump because I posting up pics in no particular order of date or importance. That's usually how it rolls with some people when it comes to naming things like this.

Here's a quick update. Changed a lot of things but almost done with all of the hard surface stuff.

This guy is taking me forever. I had to retopo his entire armor set to get clean geometry over this weekend and I had to redesign a few aspects because they looked stupid. The back pack was a pain in the butt in zbrush, so I just modeled it in Maya instead. Other than that, the armor on the legs is all that is left plus a few details on the head and the hard surface blocking will be complete! Then it will be belts, locks and other things that keeps the armor from falling off of this dude.

Greetings mortals! I am done with the major hard surface and have been working on medium details such as belts, bags, grenades and other details that hold the guy together. Clothing and the boots will be the last to be worked on before retopologizing everything again since some details and some armor pieces could use more optimization. After that is fine details such as nuts and bolts. Then the final stage is texturing!

Also I hid the arms just so you could see some of the other parts of the body.

There, done sculpting this guy, now I am retopologizing him for proper texturing and proper edge flow. Next pics will have color!

Well, after being bombarded with school and the christmas season, I am able to actually get back to work! You will be surprised on how much family and school work can eat up your time! Anyways, here's a beta render of the final. The rig I made was half assed so moving him and even turning him around kinda makes him go really wonky. But I'll fix that soon enough..

Thanks man, appreciate it. I have a little bit of tweaking left then I am going to render it in Marmoset instead of Maya Mental Ray, gives a better picture of what it actually looks like in a proper game engine.

Soon however I am going to start on something else for a change, sick of sculpting hard surface for now

Don't tell my team, but here's a sneak peak at some of the new models in Rise of the Three Kingdoms:
