    Default Modder's ID Registry (to avoid compatibility issues; please read)

    Since we have to use unique IDs for unit and buildings (and may be more later) I open this thread for modders to reserve ID pool and avoid possible conflicts. Post here the numbers you want to use in your mod (starting from 65.000) so the other modders pick another range, and I'll gather them in OP.

    This needs a sticky, right off the bat. Also, are we now sure 65000 and up are unreserved and unused by the game? I am pretty sure I tried 90-thousandsomething when trying to adjust citizenry defenders and the game crashed on start (ref. other thread).

    @ Man of West Gondor

    Can you use a number different than 70000 and close to other fo your buildings? Since you use 9865x (or it is really 986.65x?), you could reserve numbers from 98650 to 98800 (150 Ids). If you intent to make more than 25-30 units ask a bigger range.

    @ zowrath

    Game uses for units and buildings numbers up to 61.000 (not complete sequence). I do not know if it uses more in other fields. I tried 90000 - 90010 and work fine.

    @ HusserlTW Ok, I so far have 5 units planned, more will come if needed. The numbers are actually 98650's. And I can you please reserve 98650 to 98800 for me. that would be awesome, and Thank you (I'm new to modding Total War.)

    I'm going to need 68000-68100 for the time being may need to expand later i have almost 40 new units I'm working on currently for 1 faction.

    For my Unit packs 80000 - 81000

    For UP buildings - 70000 - 73000

    Ok, already changed to 69000. Curious, where does it define keys up to 61000? building_units_allowed goes up to 50169.

    What's the upper limit on IDs? If people take big chunks that go unused and others have to share that space then reserved IDs will mean nothing and mods may conflict anyways.

    You are right, it is 51000 (I remembered 1 but not 5...)

    We can use 6 digits numbers as well so there is no problem.
