I loved it, it's the greatest invention since sliced bread!
I enjoyed it, it was nice to have a connection with my multiplayer dudes.
Meh, all that matters to me is that I get to battle.
I disliked it, but not enough to rant and rave or raise a cheer that it's gone.
I hated it, may it burn in hell!

bah one of the worst features in STW2, it was also the root of all evils in MP

But it had lots of issues, and was quite unpolished/open for abuse/unbalanced it should have been tweaked and included in a polished way in Rome 2 multiplayer, things such as:
-ability to change color of the army/units
-ability to customize your general
-ability to customize your banner
-ability to name/rename your army
and other things of that sort could well been implemented without them affecting gameplay.
