I suppose isometric pictures are needed for this project, right?

^Something near-isometric would be best, yes.

@Lifth: there is the issue of minor ottoman additions, which i don't want in the byzantine model I am using some such pics, but they have their own problems...

Had to resort to using (carefully) the current building for this area, cause 3 different sites have three very different versions...

Right side there is more reworked (left in the pic). It does look a lot better. Previous pic looked more like a frog, tbh

Yes, I understand the "issue". My point was to use (if possible) real pics but for the proportions only, not for the model itself. Without considering the changes done by the Ottomans, the proportions should be similar. Or did I miss something?

Anyway, I look forward for your final version

There are some lingering proportional issues, along with some minor lazy-induced placeholder bits in part of the main dome, but i suppose they will be more easily resolved once i have modelled some of the side as well, which will make more sense to look at...

It became super-awesome the last 2 years. Since it is open-source it keeps getting more amazing. I am thinking of using just that to make a horror adventure i am working on, but likely will also use Godot for the game engine

    Btw:

I have it installed but never got around to learn it as milkshape has been adequate for almost everything I've made so far.
But I understand that if I want to get to a higher legue I'll have to learn it.
How much practice do you think it'll take?

That obviously depends, eg on how familiar you are with vertex editing (singular point editing in a mesh), and in general how easy you find working with the 3d plane and some (minor) geometry tricks

I suppose it won't be difficult given you already use similar programs, yet you can only find out yourself... At any rate the interface of Blender is very good by now (it used to be TERRIBLE >2,5 years ago...).

    Btw, are you in Athens?

    Btw:

One of the rooms of the game i am creating, using Blender to model. (some stuff there aren't my own, but you get the idea )

You need to fix this, bro.
BTW, would you be interested in modelling buildings for M2TW?

Well, i might be vain enough to be tempted to contribute a building, if it buys me one of those cool artifex or content artist tags

Just make me the Theodosian walls and if they are functional in-game I'll give you my badge!
