Good point, they may have changed the script file name, haven't even considered that.
That's intended behavior, remove superfluous entries manually.Also I have noted a problem with exported csv/tsv, getting no answer. When you import it adds the entries instead of replacing and the final table has double, triple, etc. entries.
Also the Pack Optimization feature should still work and remove them automatically.
I've had it with TWC for now, I've opened a PFM beta thread at http://forums.totalwar.com/showthrea...7-PFM-3.0-beta.
Please use that for further bug reports.
About the schema files, I'm having a hard time getting an overview on which ones are around (not least because of the TWC problems).
Please don't post schema updates on the forums but send them to me a private message; also on totalwar.com until TWC is fixed.
husserl's effort in coordinating them is very welcome. I'd suggest you create a thread on totalwar.com as well to get it underway.
It's probably best to assign ranges of tables for people to decode by table name starting letter so you have an easier time putting them together and can send them to me in bulk.
All communication to me on totalwar.com until further notice please.

Open master and rome2 schema and replace string with string_ascii. To do it fast in your editor find and replace replace all:
type='string' /> to type='string_ascii' /> and
type='string' to type='string_ascii'
Use exactly the bold above.

I believe its that the unit table is blank in Rome total war 2 and replace with two new tables called Main_Unit_table and also Land_units_tables at least that is what i get from looking through the raw db tables. they added the two new tables and got rid of the old ones so its no longer under the unit entery but rather main and land.
I'm currently working on finalizing the schema file for RTW2.I'll send it to you asap, it's based no data from the db's we got on day 1
Divide and conquer...
land_units (units stats in general) and land_units_to_unit_abilities (for assigning which units get abilities?). Would be really nice to be able to edit. Im wondering, are abilities moddable, such as phalanx? I wish to maybe mod hoplite phalanx to have similar 'charge and combat formation' capabilities as pikeman phalanx, and that in combat all rear flank hoplites hold their spears vertically..

In the game menu, Rome 2 option is greyed out for me, for some reason. Thoughts?
We cannot edit unit --'
Just want to thank you for your hard work.
Finally im able to add units to the much too small roster of Suebi. Just add them in units_to_groupings_military_permission and building_units_allowed. This will make them playable during campaign only, not in skirmish.
I made handy tool to add easy new schema: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...1#post13219600

I myself am stuck decoding naval_units and land_units. I swear that some of the values in the XML are nowhere to be seen in the hex editor.

I understand your pain with TWC daniu, it's been going on for weeks but the problems persist. I wish we would here some form of official word from GED

Sorry for the Noob question, but how do I display the tables after opening the pack files ? Notepad++ just shows gibberish. Thanks!
Im having a problem with PFM 3.0.1 and below. When opening some files(most notable the building db files), nothing shows up on the viewing window on the right or if Ive already viewed another file that does show - thats what shows up.
I can get the files if I use notepad(open in text).
Help this is driving me crazy.
Many thank, you are our savior
