Can you make a performance mod for this crappy unstable glitchy game?.
[QUOTE=LuciferHawk;13213456]Do you mean the AMD Beta 13.10 patch? I use NVIDIA not ATI.
I think he means the beta patch released by CA this morning for Rome 2...
Nice work Lucifer , Thank you.
No performance hit.
Where can I find it? Do I need to install it manually? Any experience on how well it works?
---------
I ported a M2:TW GEM shader to R2:TW GEM now and it works well (not included in the release) so if you want to see any of the M2:TW GEM filters let me know.
I'm getting a minor performance hit, but it's acceptable. What are the recommended Gamma/Brightness settings? Also, I think the colours should be a bit more saturated, but I see it's adjustable in the settings.
Lucifer...I want...I want...I want!!!
Lucifer,
You can download the patch through steam. details here

LuciferHawk, you should use SweetFX-Next instead of 1.4
Ok that SweetFX-Next is buggy but I try to make use of the new shaders.
In SweetFX-Next some shaders seem to conflict each other.
EDIT: Use of the two new filters is hard coded and not added like all the other shaders so I cant include it into the current SweetFX version.
Using SweetFX-Next and using one of the new shaders seem to block any other shader.
Using your settings in the benchmark. I have to say, WOW. How do you take a screenshot with the sweetfx settings on though?

Press the print-screen button and you can find a .bmp file in your Rome II folder.
I use the following steps to upload those to steam and post them here in the forum:
1. Set the button (like F9) in STEAM configuration with which you want to take ingame screens
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Go into any STEAM game (X) and press that button (like F9) -- Screenshot (SX) will be taken
3. Go into M2:TW and press "prt sc" -- Screenshot (SY) will be placed in you M2:TW main folder
4. Open in STEAM the menu "View" -- "Screenshots" -- select game (X) screenshots
5. Select "show on disk" -- copy the path (PX)
6. Open the M2:TW screenhot (SY) in the M2:TW main folder with paint
7. Overwrite screenshot (SX) at path (PX) with screenshot (SY) as JPG
8. Go back to the screenshot view in STEAM and select "upload screenshot"
9. Select "show online" -- click on the screenshot until it has original size -- right click on that picture and select "copy link address"
10. Paste link address in twcenter post under option "insert image"
Just want to add my thanks..
