    W8.1 x64, GTX 850M. First beta worked like a charm.

    1)Configured the game to use in game AA and windowed mode.
    2)Copied the file you posted, including the new dxgi.dll
    3)Start the game, it crashed during loading screen

    But the loading screen was showing?? Does the log always look the same and did you try to reduce shader level to 4.1 before running with GEMFX?

    Yes, the loading screen appears, but soon after comes the Windows message "The application has stopped working...".
    Tested with shader on 4.1 and 5. Same result (and the log seems also the same).

    I followed the instructions and tested on BM. It seems to work for me - UI is vanilla while rest is completely blurred. Performance seems bad for me dunno if it is supposed to be bad or not - but just saying (I probably will reduce blur anyway in final version so my performance and picture will be like old GEM versions hopefully). When I activate menu there is something showing up at the top of my screen like "GEM Reload" etc. but can't do anything except for scrolling through these words with arrow keys.

    If someone tells me how to upload GEMFX.log here and do it into spoiler I probably gonna do it. ^^

    Which GPU do you use? What shader version can you select in the game menu?

    BTW: Use the Configurator to change settings. This version is not to play anyway cause it produces alot of log content.

    I posted a new dxgi.zip file in the posts on top.

    EDIT:: Fullscreen should also work for testing now. (at least on win8.1 GEMFX finds the correct function for that; dx10 in my tests of course)

    Use the advanced option when writing a comment => "Go Advanced"

    You can add an attachment there to your comment which would be the GEMFX.log file

    By the way, do you have Windows 8 x64 or which OS?

    you need to replace the dxgi.dll from the original zip file with the one I uploaded in the dxgi.zip file.

    @Hawkins, thanks! Do you get a line in the [...] that says "Thank you for testing GEMFX, it works!!"

    EDIT:: Thanks to Vastator's help I am working on a fix right now for the Win8.1 users with dx11 cards.
    EDIT2:: I updated the dxgi.zip (in the first post of this page) file so please try the new one.

    Ok, I will prepare a beta version then that produces more less log content so you have not so much disk I/O and better performance. Please continue giving feedback as I described in the beta test post. Sample pictures are also always welcome.

    Mine tells me it works but I crash before I load into every map.
