So Arsenal and Marseille again. Bad memories.

Normally we should trash Arsenal with their current squad, but I thought Bayern would trash them last year too. Somehow Arsenal always manages the group stage.

Nasty group, Barca and Milan would've been way cooler.

Groups F and H look really nasty and should be fairly close, hopefully. Man city should have a horrible time in group D, whilst Chelsea seem to have got the easy group.

Feel sorry for Celtic. I know they were always going to be amongst the weaker seeds but to get 'that' draw after grafting through three qualifying rounds is bloody harsh. Still at least they'll get some good crowds in at Parkhead. If Man City don't qualify for the knockout stages from that group then they never will. Groups C and G are a bit of a joke frankly.

There needs to be a rule that if you have played a team more than two times in the last two years you don't get to meet them until the quarter-finals. Just look how many times have Barcelona met Milan:

2011-2012: 2 times in the group stage, away and return leg in the Quarterfinals - 4 times
2012-2013: Round of 16 away and return leg - 2 times

And now at least two more times.

Apart from that Chelsea as usual getting more or less the easiest group of all. Anyway, it will be an interesting Champions League(when has it not been? )

    S
Groups A and G are also easy.
Beside F who's the strongest on paper, I think we will see good matches in C too.

So we get Real Madrid once again, like old times.
We can not see Del Piero against Raul this time but expecting interesting games.

Some of Juve's best games in the 2000s has been versus meringues and history may repeat itself.

The others teams are not either.
Galatasaray away can very well be a nightmare.

Great game, I have to say. When Oscar was alone against Neuer and missed, that's when I shouted "This is when you lost the match!" - but I was almost wrong.
Congratulations to Bayern, Javi Martinez and Pep - first real trophy of his time with Bayern, right?

P.S. I was just thinking - Barcelona's attack consists of a Brazilian, Chilean and Argentinian. Real's is a Portuguese, French and (might as well consider it done by now) Welsh. Bayern's a Dutch guy, a French and a Croat. Seems like only Borussia actually uses strikers with the same nationality(apart from Lewa, of course )

And then they call Chelsea lucky... Off topic Lukaku should be publicly beheaded.

Yes and it was also the first time they won this trophy.

Thats just not fair, I can't blame Lukaku, penalty shootouts are horrid things and I will never blame someone for failing in a shootout.

It was a great game, both teams played great and full credit to Bayern for fighting to the very end, it paid off well. However, is it me or were Bayern just not as impressive as last season?

Mourinho being angry at the Chelsea fans for being to quiet was strangely funny.
