    Third Age 3.2 Total War



    First official hotseat hosted by TATW hotseating staff for young players who wish to enjoy
    in Middle Earth and show the rest of us their abilities of a great military commander!

    A winner of this hotseat may receive an award at the end but despite of that there will be a lot of fun so you don't want to miss it! It will be moderated by myself and maybe some other experienced player in case of my absence. You will find all instructions regarding downloading this mod here, while I suggest you also to download and install fraps which you will need in game for taking pictures of battles as a proof of your success or failure.
    Check this site for informations regarding hotseating and ask your own questions if you cannot find an answer.

    General information: Long Campaign, Manage all settlements, M/M, password

    Players:
    ~ Kingdom of Gondor: Being subbed by admin in its final days
    ~ Kingdom of Rohan: Being subbed by admin in its final days
    ~ Kingdom of Dale: montecasino
    ~ Dwarven Kingdom: Narsils_Shards
    ~ Woodland Realm: Captain Melon
    ~ Mordor: JWANT
    ~ Isengard: themzr
    ~ Orcs of the Misty Mountains: themzr
    ~ Harad: MikauZora
    ~ Rhun: Turned AI.


    Rules:
    - 24 hours to play your turn. In case you don't take your turn within 24 hours you will be automatically subbed or skipped.
    - Visitor message or private message to next person who is up.
    - No Good vs. Evil Campaign.
    - No invasions before turn 50.
    - You are not allowed to destroy buildings. That is to prevent cities to turnig into villages and towns.
    - You are not allowed to exterminate a city.
    - You cannot sally fort in case of certain defeat do deny the attacker of sacking your settlement.
    - Assasinations are not allowed.
    - Heroic victories are not allowed.
    - You cannot gift a settlements if it is at risk of being captured.
    - You can fight real battles against Rebels while all battles between players are auto-resolve. Because of that you have to post a picture of battle odds and battle results.
    - You are not allowed to surround a unit with a single units to deny a retreat.
    - You are not allowed to move units which were defeated in the previous turn.
    - Ships are not allowed to leave or enter blockaded ports until the enemy fleet is defeated.
    - No bribing.
    - Spies are only allowed to open gates when having a change of at least 50%.
    - Be friendly and tolerant to each other. It is only a game.
    - Violationg one of the general rules will be punished with a first and a second warning. At the third time you will be kicked from the hotseat.
    - Map wil be updated every 10 turns.

    RP is very much encouraged but it is up to you to make a interesting story of hungry orcs, fearful Uruk-Hai , heroic men or proud elves. Should you have any questions or problems do not hesitate to contact admin.

    I am very pleased to see you here and you have got your factions.

    In case there will be less then 13 players we will reduce the number of factions but otherwise we will play on full.

    I don't think having 13 factions for YB is a good idea, YB should get new players excited and therefore should be as fast as possible, Just my humble opinion. I'm not saying it will be slow with 13 factions, but it will be slow with 13 factions.

    BTW, I can co-admin if you want.

    Now that Gallus mentioned this. I was struggling with this thought earlier today. I understand you want new players to introduce to the world of Middle-Earth and all its factions. But 13 factions will be slow, fact..

    Ye I agree, i think we should cut the east out like in Arrows, so factions like HE, both orcs and Eriador.

    Agreed, though I would leave OOTMM in and made them start weaker (maybe without Dain's Halls?)

    Welcome PandaChef!

    There are Westeros youngbloods hotseats that are incredible fast and they have 9 factions. Under the Dome HS had around 24 players and was still very fast so I don't believe 13 factions are too much if players play their turns on time. If this concept won't work we will change this later but for now I want to see how many players are willing to join us.

    You're the boss Matto Though in my experience turn times start to rise exponentially when there are more than 8 factions in a HS. But I'll shut it now before I discourage new players.

    Yes. you can have submods that do not change gameplay, for example music submods. but submods that add new units or regions are a no-no.

    You are in 5 TATW hotseats already! I think we should try to fill it with real youngbloods first.
