Nice previews ! Keep up the good work !
Macedonia(FYROM) is Bulgarian. If you don't believe me, read a book.
Closer to a preview..
Dragonarius (Bannerman of Excuvitores)
Enjoy..
TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

How is the preview progressing, if you don't mind my asking?
I have looked through the threads and have seen a number of different factions. They all look wonderful, however, I was wondering how many are actually on the map and playable? I know the Pechnegs, Normans, and Turks appear latter in the game but how many nations are set from the start?
Thanks for any answer,
BarnicleBill1
The FAQ says 23 with 5 emerging factions, 2 Shadow Factions and one non-playable:

Though things may have changed since then
Wow, I can't believe I forgot about that. Oops, well thank you for posting that. I imagine things have changed, but that does seem like a comprehensive faction list.
In the preview they are mentioned in the number of normal factions, they may be simply a different type of emergent. Maybe like a locally spawning one.
According to the scripting help we will recieve there will be some options.
First:
There are three main diferences in the emerging factions of ours.
The 1st ones are the clasic invading factions (from no where) like in the vanilla game the Mongols faction...
These are 2-3 factions like Pechenegs , Turcomans and Normans.
The other "emerging" factions are the Dynastic changes.
Take a look of our East Frankia faction that will be replaced (with an event with Ottonian Germans.
There is a pissibility that Fatimids will be such a faction as well!
The 3rd version of emerging factions are the ones that will apear as rebalions (That category is only occupied from Kalbids of Sicily).
This last kind of emerging faction is too close to our Shadow factions (Rebelius Bulgarians and Romans).
The diference with them is that the shadow factions can be eliminated and reapear several times IF the conditions are perfect for their apearence!

Will the triggers for the rebellions be based on historical events or the event in the game itself, thus making them different each time?
Wow! Intersting structure, the Dynastic emerging factions are a nice thought! I'm tempted by Otto I, he was a good Roman Emperor but also the Fatimids are dangerous creatures .... I love the idea of the Normans' pop up in Sicily from nothing, because it's pretty historically accuarte, recruited as mercenaries by the Langobard Southern Duchies at some point they became so powerful to take all!
Antonius, this mod IMO can be the Final Mod for Med2! At least for me!
