    Default Patch 5.1.2 is released on Moddb!

    A special thanks to Josst (The Hedge Knight) who put a lot of work into this patch, rep him!

    Changelog:
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

    Launcher

    -Added new method to launch mod
    --Permanent install option (After installing you can launch game normally to start the mod, providing you don't use other mods in the meantime)
    --Uninstall option (Works nomatter install/launch method)
    -Fixed optional settings
    -Added important MP information to launcher

    Campaign

    -Fixed a crash from certain buildings
    -Reduced the power of rebel stacks, reduced the number of artillery unit per stack
    -Added 100 new historic characters to the campaign which will appear in the recruitable general pools over time
    -Reduced campaign AI lag
    -Replaced napoleonic starting generals and admirals with WW1 equivilents
    -Totally restructured artillery recruitment tree so they are available earlier
    -Made certain tech times more realistic
    -Partial fix for a bug which caused trade values would rise exponentially
    -Reduced the price of many buildings and balanced the effects of many others
    -Gave all technologies a unique purpose
    -Added more ways of obtaining aircraft
    -Reduced AI tendancy to build autonomy slightly (not perfect)
    -Added descriptions to many missing effects
    -Fixed a bug where level 3 railways had no UI card
    -Changed certain buildings to balance the campaign
    -Slightly adjusted some starting armies
    -Changed Italian capital to Rome
    -Attempted fix of Austria breaking German alliance if Germany
    -Fixed unit descriptions missing endlines
    -Fixed Serbian faction description

    Multiplayer

    -Multiplayer custom battles now work
    -Multiplayer campaigns now work
    (SEE INFORMATION IN LAUNCHER, the MP campaign requires an quick setup by both players (two files), but overwrites NTW game files which should be backed up first)
    -Adjusted battle funds
    -Added custom scripting for campaign

    Not a full reinstall, but a patch to be applied ontop of 5.1, it's only a 20mb download.

    I didn't make it a launcher update as the launcher has has some significant updates in this patch, hence the need to download via Moddb.

    If you are refering to the money bug where you get billions then go bankrupt we tried to fix that in this update.

    Info: It was due to the value of trade goods skyrocketing and earning the player billions. When the value exceeded 2 trillion the players money was reset as the that exceeds the max value NTW can hold for the player in its treasury. Hence the loop of billionaire to bankrupt.
    The fix we have gone for is not ideal, but its a great improvement while we look for the actual cause of the trade inflation.

    Well, not only that but thanks for the heads up. People seem to have different problems which I am not qualified to summarize sufficiently here, hence my request that you guys have a look and may be clarify whether some issues have been fixed with v5.2 or whether you've been aware of these issues already...

    I just got a bug i finaly got to build my first tanks, 5 of them send them out to kill a tiny unit as an test, i win easily and pumped as a kid because they were so EPIC. But then when i get the statistic i lost my whole Tank division Oh well trying a new type now, I can't remember the Name but i got a picture of it. I will find it and post it soon.

    ops I will tell you the name since the quality is low A7V Male Tank 4 of them not five and two units incase of a big failure with the tanks

    That bug was fixed this update as far as I know. Please use the bug report thread in future to report bugs.

    sorry figured it out. Disregard my previous comments. HOWEVER, while the launcher says it's running 5.1.2, the multiplayer still has the same problem and the building crash fix still crashes :/

    Sadly I'm getting the error people are talking about on ModDB, none of the files can actually be extracted (with WinRAR at least). I've tried downloading twice.

    I think it's 7-zip not WinRar compression

    Hey guys, I used a compression only able to be unzipped by 7zip, not winZip.

    As such I have removed and reuploaded the patch, and fixed a small bug in the process, I suggest you all redownload! (When its authed again)

    Will teh tanks/bunker disappearing in campaigns after battles be fixed? How about Serbian rebels spawning in Italy and generic rebels spawning in Serbia? Russian MG's causing CTD?
