Default No armies on Campaign Map

Hello. Just installed, quite a few times. Latest beta. Followed instructions. All is well, except that there are no army stacks on the campaign map when starting. Not sure what the issue is, or if this is how it is supposed to be. Lookes like a startpos problem.

Also, what does "Zones of Recruitment" do?

Everything else seems to be working fine.

There aren't meant to be any armies at start. You're meant to build them.
Zones of recruitment mean that a Florida regiment will only be recruited in Florida and a New York one only in New York. If you lose a region, you also lose the chance to recruit the units from there.
And before you report a bug, volunteers require farms to be built. If a raider burns your farm in a region, state volunteers from that region will not be available until the farm is fixed.

(also, expect minors to declare war on you eventually and there could be some terminal crashes later in the game and some random ones in battles. We're aware of most of these bugs and hope to have them fixed soon)

    Enjoy!

For some reason I think your joshin' me. Both sides had standing armies at the beginning of the conflict. Is it because you don't have a startpos modder?
