Default Will you skip the tutorial?

    Hi there,

like the Title already says: Will you skip the tutorial, when the game comes out? (if there is a way to skip it )
Well, i guess the tutorial is going to be the demo like some other TW Titles but if you get the new game and installed it, will you skip the Tutorial?

    ...

ehm, i canīt exchange the poll.... so NOPE means Yes

But seriously, yes I will play the campaign. It will just be good to start off in Rome's early days by beating the Samnites, and it will feel like a natural progression to go to the main map and carry on my Roman empire there.

I think it would be a good idea for everyone to go through the tutorial/prologue. It's had a lot of effort put into it, appears to have some good voice acting, and looks like it will be useful even for veteran TW players since there will be a lot of new features we may not be familiar with in Rome 2. I say give it a shot, I'll certainly be playing it.

btw the poll sounds weird ... Will you skip the tutorial? "Nope, i love to experience the new hidden features on this game by surprise"

    that should be Yes

i'll start with the prologue yes. looks like they have put a lot of effort in it and Mark Strong!

then i'll do what i do in most new tw games...do some 1 v 1 unit custom battles to just watch the animations and then i'll start a campaign

Nope, i love to experience the new hidden features on this game by surprize with another faction.

When I decide to play Rome I will play the tuturial and then continue the campaign.

I'm going to play the prologue as I'm a big fan of Archie...I mean Mark Strong

Plus, it's going to be good to see CA's take on the Samnite wars. I'm looking forward to it. The only time we'd see the Samnites in the campaign would be when they rise up as an Emergent faction if I lose a territory in Italia...which will never happen so I'd never see the Samnites at all if I don't play the Prologue haha
I personally invite you to check out my complete combat overhaul which will give you a completely new Rome 2 experience:

I'm fairly sure I read it was integrated. Where you play the prologue and then if you wish you can carry on into the full campaign like the American prologue in Empire.

I can't remember where I read it though.

I will play it, it will show off anything new that even us veteran TW players won't know about.

I'll start recording my main campaign though

I'll surely play it, especially because it seems the best tutorial campaign of the series.
Besides it's the only way to get the "Al Bickham" Steam Achievement by loosing the first tutorial battle.
Disclaimer: the post above is way way prealpha, the final version will be way better than this.
