I saw these in the "Pictures and videos thread" and i was suprised they didn't have it's own thread, as a lot of people were waiting for pics of the cities

Babylon sure looks small.
In the trailer Carthage looked more epic :/ I hope this is "level 1" Carthage city.. But beside that, the rest looks great.
Babylon looks like a strong city!
Also, it doesn't look like we'll be able to use the area around the Parthenon to defend.
Hey guys, Among all the settlements and cities to be found as you conquer your way across ROME II’s campaign map, five stand out as great wonders of engineering, seats of learning, and as the hearts of empires: Alexandria, Athens, Carthage, Babylon and Rome. It’s only right that the battle maps for these mighty seats of ancient civilization get the special treatment, so we’ve gone to town on making them the most intricate, stunning, authentic and of course epic cityscapes we’ve ever created. These shots also show the kind of graphical glory the ROME II engine can achieve, with a huge range of environmental lighting variables, colossal amounts of detail, and high-end graphical techniques such as depth-of-field. You can check out the sweet screenshots here! Enjoy!

Hot pics. I like it.
What the hell?! How could we miss those? IMO the moderators are a bit to active with moving news from CA towards the general pictures or articles thread. I think that any new thing for CA warrants at least one separate thread for discussion for the first few days.
Anyway an excellent find (rep given) and what a great cities, very nice variety and that's even without a barbarian city shown! anyway, I guess these are the 5 custom made cities and the rest will be more generic but it doesn't matter, they are great! Perhaps future DLC will add also custom cities (like antioch for a Seleucid DLC)

The lighthouse of the Pharos looks a bit rubbish. It's just the one from Carthage and isn't remotely like the real one

BY THE RIVERS OF BABYLON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Acropolis looks amazing.
Rome looks huge, but I think Carthage is the most beautiful.
Those cities are pretty damn big
All sites involved are crashing, I got a peek though and they look fantastic.
