Default Authentic Translations for Greek Units

Hey, lads. I noticed that in 5.0, there is an option for the units to appear with their authentic naming, but that doesn't apply to greek units. As such, I tried to translate them.

Apparently, tables don't seem to work, so bear with me:

    Snipers Ελεύθεροι Σκοπευτές (Eleutheroi Skopeutes)
    Flamethrowers Φλογοβόλα (Flogovola)
    Sharpshooters Κεκρυμμένοι Πυροβολητές (Kekrymmenoi Pyrovolites)
A-T Snipers Αντιαρματικοί Σκοπευτές (Antiarmatikoi Skopeutes)
Combat Engineers Μάχιμοι Μηχανικοί (Machimoi Michanikoi)
    Rifle Grenadiers Γρεναδιέροι (Grenadieroi)
    ©on-scri-pts Νεοσύλλεκτοι (Neosyllektoi)
Trench Gunners Πυροβολητές Χαρακωμάτων (Pyrovolites Harakomaton)
Light Infantry Ελαφρύ Πεζικό (Elafry Peziko)
Militia (old) Πολιτοφυλακή (Politofylaki) or Eθνική Φρουρά (Ethniki Froura) First translation literally means "Civic Guard", whereas the alternative one means "National Guard". In Greece, there was recently an issue about unofficial Politofylakes being founded, and in Cyprus the army is called Ethniki Froura, often referred to as Ethnofroura.
Light Infantry (old) Ελαφρύ Πεζικό (Elafry Peziko) (old)
    Rifle Infantry Πεζικό (Peziko)
    Marines Πεζοναύτες (Pezonautes)
Assault Infantry Καταδρομείς (Katadromeis) [Assault Infantry, I assume refers to Stormtroopers, the equivalent of which is Katadromeis (literally "Raiders") in Greece. However, I do not believe that such a term was in official use until after WW2.]
Rifle Infantry (old) Πεζικό (Peziko) (old)
Assault Infantry (SMG) Καταδρομείς (Katadromeis) (Oplopolyvolo)
    Evzones (Elite Battalion)
    Hussars Ουσάροι (Ousaroi)
Rifle Cavalry Τουφεκοφόρο Ιππικό (Toufekoforo Ippiko) [There was no special term for rifle-wielding cavalry, so I just translated it literally. Might be better to just go with the alternative translation, which just means "Cavalry"]
Cavalry Guard Φρουροί Ιππικού (Frouroi Ippikou) or Βαρύ Ιππικό (Vary Ippiko) [Translated literally as "Cavalry Guards". A quick search doesn't turn up any encyclopaedias talking about the guard divisions of other nations, so I am unsure if an alternative, more accurate translation exists. It appears to me that they are mostly heavy cav divisions, so you could perhaps use "Vary Ippiko" (Heavy Cavalry) to refer to them.]
    Dragoons Δραγόνοι (Dragonoi)
    Lancers Λογχοφόροι (Loghoforoi)
    Cuirassiers Θωρακοφόροι (Thorakoforoi)
Mounted Infantry Έφιππο Πεζικό (Efippo Peziko)
Light Mortars Ελαφριά Ολμοβόλα (Εlafria Olmovola)
Gas Projectors Εκτοξευτές Αερίου (Ektoxeutes Aeriou)
    Machine Guns Πολυβόλα (Polyvola)
Heavy Mortars Βαρεά Ολμοβόλα (Varea Olmovola)
Machinegun Bunker Οχυρό Πολυβόλου (Ochyro Polyvolou)
Light Howitzers Ελαφρά Οβιδοβόλα (Elafra Ovidovola)
Rail-Gun Forward Observers Παρατηρητές Σιδηροδρομικού Κανονιού (Paratirites Sidirodromikou Kanoniou)
Light Machine Guns Ελαφρά Πολυβόλα (Elafra Polyvola)
Heavy Field Guns Βαρέα Πεδινά Πυροβόλα (Varea Pedina Pyrovola)
Field Guns Πεδινά Πυροβόλα (Pedina Pyrovola)
Field Guns (old) Πεδινά Πυροβόλα (Pedina Pyrovola) (old)
Heavy Howitzers (old) Βαρέα Οβιδοβόλα (Varea Ovidovola) (old)
Heavy Howitzers Βαρέα Οβιδοβόλα (Varea Ovidovola)

PS. Any idea why the correct spelling of "©on-scri-pts" apparently forbids the post from being created? It took me several tries to figure out why I couldn't post.

Default Re: Authentic Translations for Greek Units

Also, there appears to be an Elite Battalion (old) unit. That should be altered to Evzones (old).

A thought on the problem with translating "Cavalry Guard", after a bit of research.

"The essential difference between the regiment of Lance-bearers (Longhoforoi) and that of the Lancers (Longhistes), was that in the Lancers was inserted the light cavalry element, by their conversion, by half to Carabiniers."
-History of Cavalry and Armored Units

So while both Longhistes and Longhoforoi would be normally translated to "Lancers", maybe appoint Lancers to Longhistes, and Guard to Longhoforoi, to have some diversity. Alternatively, I did some more research and there was apparently a "Royal Guard Squadron" (Ιλη Βασιλικής Φρουράς, Ili Vasilikis Frouras) that could serve the Guard Cavalry equivalent.
