    Default What will you do on September 2nd?

    What will you do one day before the release of Rome II?

    Will it be just another day for you or will you do something special in order to get ready to the battle?

    Personally, I will do some cleaning on my pc in order to get it ready for this kickass game. Also, I will give Zeus and Ares some offerings in order they lead my spartan (or macedon?) army to victory.

    Probalbly get lots of Sleep, clean up Pc, Buy Food and Drinks for teh following days.

    Gonna get hard copy early morning over here in Australia... which means many hours ahead of the rest of the world. Does anyone know if there's a region lock until its technically 3rd September at some other timezone? Or can I install and play it straight away even though its still 2nd September in most of the world.

    Its unlocked on steam, so it will be the same time world-wide (sadly )

    I will be checking in periodically to see the first reports about how huge the map is and that the battles are awesome, then perhaps some complaints that Rome has vanished conquered by an Iceni invasion fleet or why Jerusalem is a village because a lot of new total war players wont expect that.

    It should be an interesting week looking forward to it.

    Dust free-ing the PC and de-fragmenting after some uninstalls, Pre-load RTW2 and wait for midnight.
    Probably by playing some Xbox360, just to keep the internet speed up.

    What time on the 3rd is it released anyway?

    Yup Sept 2nd, 3rd and every week day there after will be much the same .. work. Weekends I'm busy building a house.

    In between I hope to find the time to check the forums to see whether RTWII is worth getting.

    My retail-copy will prob. first arrive on 4. Sep. so lots of time to make my game-room/office ready.
    Maybe I'll order a GTX 770 graphics card to be sure I can play with all the bells and whistles on...
