    This is somewhat true. They did take the Blachernae, so if anything, they get first dibs in a ways.

    I would recommend the Hieria, Hross.

    Or the Placidia Palace, which served as quarters for the Pope whenever he visited Constantinople.

    Another idea, you can take a mighty looking church and convert it into a palace. Many palaces were turned into Churches like St. Antiochus' Palace.
