Looks like a very good idea. Will it be only for MP? Winged hussars are my favourite units so I'm glad they will be in the release. Anxiously waiting!

So does it mean it will include a smaller version of campaign map that will concentrate on south-east Poland? or just few historical battles?

Sounds great, but is there any chance for a pre-M2TW release of a campaign, or will you work on after it's release, or will you switch to M2TW then ?

But still, - Winged hussars, finally.

We hope the campaign we'll be released before M2TW. We also hope we'll be able to adapt the mod to M2TW. But it will certainly occur after the release of M2TW.

How come your Cossacks have russian-spelled names? Not talking about mixing plural forms and name parts:
    harmata -- cannon
    reyestrovi -- registered
    plastun -- scout
    kinnota -- cavalry

Hm... These names are temporary and will be corrected anyway. Do you think "registered" is a proper translation for "реестровые" and a proper unit name? And why should we call our units in english? Why does CA call STW, MTW and RTW units in their native languages? Naphatun, Kataphraktoi, Protai Allegion, Hashishin, Shinobi, Skythikon, Vardariotai, Gulay Gorod and so on and so forth. Where do u see "kinnota" in the posted list?

Yes, registered is the proper translation (if you are looking for a translation): cossacks were recorded in the register thus registered.

Then again, it doesn't make much sense (to me) to have: plastuns, harmatas, wagon w/ cannons, golota w/ spears, etc. in the same place. It is either: scouts, cannons, cannon wagons, rabble spearmen or plastuny, harmaty, garmatni vozy, golota zi spysamy (I preffer the formed with alternatives given in unit descriptions but that is a personal preference).

There is no kinnota in your list but if you choose to go with native names it is zaporizska kinnota not kavaleriya.

When this demo is going to be released, btw?

Nope, "registered" doesn't make any sense to me as a unit's name. Are you English?
We'll consider using these names - scouts, cannons, cannon wagons, rabble spearmen or plastuny, harmaty, garmatni vozy, golota zi spysamy.
Again, where do you see "kavaleriya" in the list? Zaporizska kinnota can be easy translated as Zaporozhian cavalry. So I see no problem here.
Personally I think native names should be used in case of difficulties with translation (I mean finding the proper word as with "registered").
BTW, there will be no demo. The beta version will be released soon.

Registered would be correct. Registered Cossacks or something similar.

That's also how the old game "Cossacks" named them.

I know you've heard it before but I can only say almost all our efforts are aimed at beta now. We should have released it in winter 2006 but...
The full mod is planned for M2TW.

I understand that it is hard for you to give the accurate completion date to the Beta.
Say although what you are still missing?
Perhaps at first you will release only units, and later historical battles?

    Sorry. My english isn't perfect

We need to gather everything, put everything in place and make it work. Our engineer is dealing with it. And it is done mostly.
