Default Total War Rome 2 new Interview

This is an interview with Pawel Wojs, lead battle artist of Total War: Rome II from the event in Rome I believe. Some interesting stuff said here.

But be warned: the "you know" virus is spreading scarily fast!

And by the way CA,this is how the Greeks sound when they speak English, nothing like they did in RTW .

    Enjoy guys!

Here is the link in case the video doesn't work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Azu...yer_detailpage

Truth be told.... Thank the Gods it's not how all of us speak English. Still, I liked how the Greeks sounded in Rome.

I kind of liked this interviewer.

He asked some good questions, knew the series and the game to the point that you know he plays and is following Rome 2. And he'd also come back and ask follow up questions, or clarifications. Respectfully, but probingly, like in his question about the Greek Cities DLC. So many interviewers ask dumb questions, or ask good questions and then nod their heads dumbly while the interviewee completely goes around the question or gives some generic, uninformative response. Obviously there's a limit to how far you can press these guys, but still.

Can anyone agree with me that it was the Ermine Street Guard at the start then?
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I am me. You are not me. You are you. If I was you, I wouldn't be me.
If you were me, I'd be sad.But I wouldn't then be me because you'd be me so you wouldn't be me because I wasn't me because you were me but you couldn't be because I'd be a different me. I'd rather be any kind of bird (apart from a goose) than be you because to be you I'd have to not be me which I couldn't do unless someone else was me but then they would be you aswell so there would still be no me. They would be you because I was you so to restore balance you would have to be me and them meaning all three of us would become one continously the same. That would be very bad.

No this isn't the Ermine Street Guard, its one of the reenactment groups from Rome itself, Legio X Gemina (P.F.D) I believe (http://www.legiodecima.it/). I'm part of the RMRS, so I've done a few events with the ESG, that isn't them.

The second to last question didn't make sense to me. The saving of a formation has been in for awhile now. You deploy your units, group them, and then move them in that formation. As far as "adjusting" that's the whole point of commanding an army. Adjusting your formation to respond to different threats to win the battle.

Come on, guys. Stop giving CA a hard time about the "you know" thing. They're human beings, just like all of us. They can be flustered. It's a little annoying, yes, but is it really necessary to make fun of them for it?

"You know" is a common filler word in UK as well as even in austria (in german, obiously). Stop flaming about this.

It suck a lot if you hear the whole conversation while you are the one who ask questions. Since you don't know anything, you have to ask, and why the heck the guy answer always start as "you know".

I prefer game designers making the game not orators. If they are too smooth of a talker I start to get nervous and feel like somebody is trying to scam me out of money.
