my NTW Does not save!

Hello fellow members, I was hoping if anyone can help me.

I recently downloaded NTW game again, after wipng it clean from my PC, and installed Darthmod.
I realised a few turns in, that I cant save the game .

Not sure what to do, I have re-installed it again and still the same results, even with vanilla.

Is it anything to do with my previous installment? or could it be that I downloaded and tried Darthmod, without even saving the vanilla campaign first?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a line in your preferences to enable and disable autosave?

Thanks for the reply, I'm at work at the moment, will ceck when I get home, but how do I check it (sorry a slight noob here) and what do I need to look out for?

I don't have Napoleon but it seems the othe TW games have a line for autosaves.

Figured it out. In App Data, for some reason the save games are not a folder, but a file. I just made a new folder "save_games" exactly and renamed the old one. Works now.

oh great news! sorry but what is app data and where do i find it?
Can you please tell me what to do, as mentioned before im slightly a noob when it comes to this.

I was having this same problem. I tried making a ticket with steam support; I tried posting on the official forums for Total War; I was unable to get any help for weeks. I should have come here first. Thank you for the help.

Having the same problems, and it's only with NTW, Empire seems to work fine...

C:\users\YOUR PROFILE NAME\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Napoleon\

I've done several complete reinstalls of NTW and the bolded part doesn't appear no matter what I do.

Never mind, a third reinstall apperently fixed it...
