Alexandros was ambitious, ambitious as any Venetian, and in his heart it was beginning to swell like his coffers. "Oh we shall open the ports for trade my friend, there never was any doubt! With Constantinople as our home, we can claim the whole Aegean...but not just the Aegean my friend, we have access to the Black Sea as well! But never mind all that, future business will be handled in do time. For now let us enjoy the spoils" his eyes glancing at the woman, "And bask in the glory of what we have just accomplished. Dues Vult" added sarcastically at the end.

"Heh," Cristoforo chuckled, while walking toward the frightened woman. "Deus Vult," he said, as he touched her. "It'll be a good night, Baudarios," he said.

Deus Vult yourself! Why don't you leave her alone, you savage?

Came a voice from the corner of the street.

Though the fight had been over for a while, Cristoforo still had enough adrenalin in his body to react faster than he himself thought was possible. He turned quickly, and unfastened his crossbow from the leather band across his back. "You sound like a Greek, and I don't take kindly to those," he said as he aimed his crossbow. "She your wife or something?"

Alexandros's day had its ups and downs so, though he had hoped it was going upwards for the rest of the day. But it would seem one of his fellow looters had a conscious, he found the idea almost laughable. Still with sword in hand he turned to the man, "Go about your own damned business" spoke Alexandros in Latin, hopefully the brute was educated enough to know the language of the church. Of course from the looks of him that was a long shot. "If you plan to stop all the rapes and looting in the city you are going to have a tough time, you will only risk death and hate from every man who is taking part of the madness, which is to say everyone but you it seems."
