Are these two submods compatible with each other?
I really like the features of both mods and would love to include them both![]()
Unfortunately, they are not compatible.

You have to add manually each modified building into the EDB, it is doable;
go into JKD EDB copy and paste each new building (religious, unique building etc...) into RR/RC EDB
Okay. So, what I need to do is to re-install RR/RC and put JKD EDB side by side in RR/RC EDB. Although I am not sure how, I'll give it go first. Will report back. Thanks a lot
It should be a little more complicated:
You need a clean version of BC 2.3.2
and then, you need to merge all the used files by JKD and RR/RC.
I have no idea what is the best to install first for submod...
But you will need to merge EDB and descr_strat.
I have suppressed some unused guilds buildings, so check that you will use my export_descr_guilds file;
Check also the text file description for all buildings (data\text\ export_buildings.txt) and ensure that both new buildings of RR/RC and JKD have their description (so you need to merge export_buildings.txt too)
I think descr_strat could be a problem, check that all the used buildings mentionned are present in EDB and export_buildings.txt
Thank you for the hints. I'll check that after work.
By the way, the idea of Jizya, Kafir and Dhimmis is brilliant. I have this book describing Muawiyah bin Abu Sufyan ruling as a caliphate in Damascus, that the income is much greater than just the three sources. For example, there is also a tax for traders in the borders who enter or leave the region, for non moslems the amount is 10% and for moslems is half of them, i forgot what it is called. There is also Fai land and other taxes. I can provide you the data right away in case you're planning to have them applied in the next upgrade. Note that although it was firstly applied by Muawiyah r.a. (even Umar ibn Abdul Aziz rahimahullah), the Abassid applied them as well. I assume there were not much difference for the surrounding islamic sultanates such as in central Asia (Khurasan province, Bukhara, Nisaphur, Isfahan) as they were parts of Abassid regions.
Also, Im in an opinion that Mekka should have greater wealth since the pilgrims visit the holy city every year bringing wealth. This is because I remember there will be a mod that depicts generals who go for Hajj during the seasons.
Above all, thanks for the great mod.![]()
Which guilds did you remove?
Concerning descr_strat, you will need to copy all the unique building entries from his descr_strat and paste them in the proper cities in my descr_strat. I think you should also import his buildings into my EDB, since I've made a lot of changes (most noticeably eliminating castles). Remember that the limit in the EDB is 128 trees. You might have to delete some of the unused ones in order to make room for his new buildings. Remember to make back-ups of files.
WinMerge can help you compare two documents.
