I have hit the Marian Reforms as the Romans and I cant recruit any units. Only Barbarioans, not even principes or hastati. Any Help?

You may have to destroy the AOR buildings and rebuild them to be able to recruit marian units.

I believe your relations with them have to be 8 or above, so give them some money and improve relations.

My relation with Senate is 8 but only 7 with the Romani. Maybe I should give them money too?

Yes, the relationship with the romani has to be 8 or above and be allied to them for a certain period of time. I've seen it happen as short as 15 turns in to a campaign.

I have download part 1 and part 2 from torrent, install both but when i start the mod i get loading screen and appears black and i am out from the mod. What is problem ?

I can only play custom battles.... While it is possible to enter campagin menu and start campagin but as soon as I start campaign, it CTDs as soon as loading ends.

BTW, I'm not using steam version and I downloaded and installed this mod many seperate occasions.. It would be nice to get a solution to this problem...

@Gravedigger 1970: is the mod installed in medieval 2\mods\dbm ?
@spring3390: other guy with your problem solved uninstalling and reinstalling med2 + kingdoms.

I have built up all barracks and archer and even cavalry barracks. I have hit the marian reforms but cant recruit any archers or cavalry in Italy. I can finally recruit infantry but not much. Any help. I need archers and cavalry

marian legion are recruitable in aor barracks.
for archers and cavalry, you have to use mercenaries or aor barracks (historically roman use mercenaries and auxiliaries for that)

Hello guys, first of all - many thanks for this awesome mod; Rhaymo you did a lot of work and people sure appreciate that.

I just have one question - how you can recruit spies and assassins? I am playing (H/VH) as Cartaghe and got only those starting ones; my assassin died (peacefully), spy is too old I can't recruit new ones (I surely build inns, assassin guilds and so on)...other agents work OK...

In Carthage you can't, it's a bug.

I`v got the same problem as Gravedigger 1970.
when i click the shortcut, the screen apears, then it crashes and exit.
the screen is the same as original Medievall 2 if it helps.
I will try to reinstall then will post the result.

This works the same as the steam version... Read the first post on the first page lolz



How do i install the mod on steam?
Go here....C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods
1- rename the americas folder something else say america_1 for it being the original
2- create a new folder and the call it americas
3- instal part one and part two into the new folder you created
4- launch kingdoms through steam and select Americas
