    Year AUC = Year AD/BC + 753

    Their existence is linked to the presence of a sanctuary in which the oracle is set: as long as this building will exist there will always be a sibyl.

    Even if you don't possess these settlement, bringing a character of yours to a sibyl, make you receive mission response.
    these missions are only valid for the greek and roman factions.
    If you fail a sibyl mission, you will be affected by earthquake, famine o plagues.

    CTD at pontifex election
    ONLY in DBM1.0
    I fought against SPQR, I conquered Rome , The next turn, I'm asked to vote for a new "Pontifex". When that's done, the game has a CTD.
    This is a bug that we'll fix in the next patch. meantime, you can bypass it avoiding to conquest all spqr city or returning a city to SPQR if them has lost all of their city..

    How do I know what year it is? I am wondering when the reforms happen, but without knowing what year it is, I cant tell. It just states what turn number I am on?
    Any insight into this would be nice.

    Thanks

    Which units appear after the marian reform?
    Why the old units were gone, and the new ones are not there? (except for some nominal cohorts).

    After marian reform you can recruit legio rapax, ferrata, alaudae and gallica. the older units, historically, disappeared.

    There is still no way to tell what year you are in in the game. The only way of knowing is if one of my generals die I can see what year he died in the family tree. I'm on turn 81 now.

    513+81= 594 AUC (this date is reported on left panel)

    using formula above:

    Year AD = Year AUC - 753
    -159 = 594 - 753
    159 BC

    i don't see the difficult

    And someone has to be recruited in Barraco? Or just in Barraco AOR?
    Simple legionnaires are missing?

    Default Windowed mode?

    Anyone else not been able to get it to work? I admit this is one of the first mods i have played for kingdoms/medieval 2 its always been the original rome for me, so i struggle with what to edit and where. I do know you edit the preferences but it does not seem to translate properly into the game. Would be nice to alt tab on the turns as my computer isn't too great anymore.

    you want to edit the configuration file .. in this case called DBM.cfg

    open it with something like notepad++ that ones a free download(it maintains formatting)

    when you scroll down to the "video" section you will see this

    Code:
    [video]
    show_banners = true
    no_background_fmv = 1
    movies = 1
    windowed = 0
    # widescreen        = 0
    # grass_distance = 9000
    change it to this

    Code:
    [video]
    show_banners = true
    no_background_fmv = 1
    movies = 1
    windowed = 1
    # widescreen        = 0
    # grass_distance = 9000
    save exit should work .. depending on preferences some people also add borderless window

    Code:
    [video]
    show_banners = true
    no_background_fmv = 1
    movies = 1
    windowed = 1
    borderless_window=true
    # widescreen        = 0
    # grass_distance = 9000
    i can't remember for the life of me why .. i have a good computer and haven't used this stuff in a while but i just put it i for completionists sake incase you want to try it

    Thanks it works great, i thought editing the CFG just for the base game would do it but apparently not needs to be for each mod never even noticed the seperate CFG file for dbm.

    Rhaymo-

    For the Mauryan Empire, is it possible that you use the Indian units from the Ferrum Aeturnum mod? Check it out in the kingdoms hosted mods if you don't know about it.

    I think they have a very complete representation of the Mauryan forces... even though the time frames of Ferrum Aeturnum and DBM are different, many of those Indian units overlap.

    @ Dev Team, did you mod horses for certain factions? The Carthaginian Cavalry look alot better than the Roman Cavalry. If you didnt, is it possible to make the horses look better in the future as now they look really short and fat.
