    REQUIREMENTS
    This is the required configuration in order to install "De Bello Mundi":
    1- Installation of original "Medieval II Total War"
    2- Installation of the "Kingdoms" expansion
    3- Installation of the Official 1.05 (or 1.5) Patch (not strictly required)

    INSTALLATION
    These are the steps to follow in order to install "De Bello Mundi":
    0- Download the two files.
    1- Start the "De Bello Mundi 1.0 - Part 1" installer and follow the process to the end of the installation
    2- Start the "De Bello Mundi 1.0 - Part 2" installer and follow the process to the end of the installation
    3- At the end of the installation, you can start the mod with the shortcut on the desktop or the batch file in: Medieval II Total War\mods\DBM\DBM.bat
    Remember that "De Bello Mundi" doesn't overwrite either original or other mods files.

    if you have problem with the installation and you're using steam, try this:
    Go here....C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods
    1- rename the americas folder something else say america_1 for it being the original
    2- create a new folder and the call it americas
    3- instal part one and part two into the new folder you created
    4- launch kingdoms through steam and select Americas



    PATCH 1.1

    REQUIREMENTS
    This is the required configuration in order to install tha patch 1.1:
    1- Installation of original "Medieval II Total War"
    2- Installation of the "Kingdoms" expansion
    3- Installation of the Official 1.05 (or 1.5) Patch (not strictly required)
    4- DBM 1.0 installed and working
    5- 2GB of free space on your hard disk.

    INSTALLATION
    1 - Download the patch. you'll get a file named DBM_Patch_v1.1.7z (size about 266 MB).
    2 - Now Unzip it (using 7zip). Right click on DBM_Patch_v1.1.7z, select 7z-> "Extract here". you'll get a folder named DBM (size about 1,55 GB).
    3 - Cut and paste the DBM folder in the mods folder of your med2 installation (where there is already a folder named DBM, the version 1.0), and answer "yes" when windows ask you if you want overwrite existing folder and files.

    For example: i download the patch and save it on my desktop. after unzip it, i get a folder named DBM. I cut and paste it in mods directory of my med2 installation folder, in my case "E:\Programmi\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods".

    PATCH LOG
    This patch includes the following modifications and bug fixes
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

    CAMPAIGN
    Rebalanced squallor and pubblic order.
    Rebalanced general economy.
    Rebalanced money bonus for ia and malus for player
    Rebalanced experience and morale bonus from building
    Reworked the armour upgrade system
    Removed Senate at start time. Now it's an emergent faction.
    Hellenistic reform happen randomly between turns 50-66
    Marian reform happen randomly between turns 100-111
    Augustan reform happen randomly between turns 130-141

    CAMPAIGN MAP MODELS
    Different models for King, Heir and general
    Replaced old wagon trade model of riczu (5000 poly) with a low poly version (1000 poly). This should reduce the lag on campaign map
    Replaced vanilla ship trade model (258 poly) with a low poly version of riczu for classical era (650 poly).
    Replaced medieval siege icon model of riczu (12400 poly) with a low poly version of riczu for classical era (4900 poly). This should reduce the lag on campaign map
    Replaced old blockade icon model of riczu (9600 poly) with a low poly version (1600 poly). This should reduce the lag on campaign map

    CAMPAIGN SCRIPT
    Removed population deduction when recruiting
    Removed collegium pontificium script
    Removed Clientes script
    Modified Roman Civil War script (at start-time the Senate is a guild, lately appears as emergent faction)
    Improved script code to speed up the end turn time

    After augustus reform , arabs, axum, numidian, garamantes, germans, thracian and illyrians can recruit heavy swordman armed with javelin, sword, chainmail and helmet. These units aren't really historical, but they are a possible heavy infantry if that factions would had developed at more advanced level.

    IMPORTANT HINT
    Save the game at end of each turn, and first of a battle. Use at least two files, and alternate the saving on the two files (so if the game crash during the save and file is corrupted, you don't lost ypur entire campaign)

    SUBMODS
    Submods are allowed. When the mod will get its own subforum in "kingodm hosted modification", submods and their link could go there.
    The most beautiful, interesting and useful submods, will be inserted in the official patch.


    PERMISSION TO USE MOD MATERIAL
    You're free to use our mod material without asking for permission. Of course, credits are welcome

    hi,
    so I have downloaded the two files and I am in the process of installing them
    the first one seems to be slightly problematic for me, around the 11% mark it keeps closing because there has been a problem with one file (it says the mod cannot be downloaded because the file contains invalid data)
    and it is a different file everytime I try it again
    for example
    data\menu\symbols\fe_buttons_48\symbol48_normans_roll.tga
    and the time before it was
    data\models_strat\residences\barbarian_large_town.cas
    so I was just wondering if this was a problem you knew how to resolve
    thanks

    maybe the downloaded file is corrupt. try to donwload it again

    Where in the medieval 2 folder am i supposed to install this? The instructions only say to install to the end

    I seem to have a problem with installing part 2 but not part 1.
    It will say the minute I try to install part 2
    This version is not compatible with the version of windows you're running.
    However, part 1 worked while installing and I was wondering what the problem could be since it cannot possibley be that part two cannot work, but part one can.

    The Part 1 and 2 torrent has a .7Z link on the end. Is it a .7Z folder with the torrent in it?

    I have the same problem here; the only different thing is that the game is launched and I got kicked out at the same time with a blank announcement

    this is exactly what I needed to ease me while I wait for rome 2 great campaign great skins great mod if only I had this mod 5 months ago lol although I recomend using the lite campaign not quite sure of the diffrence but I does not take 17 mins to end a turn lol

    I can't get it to work.

    I downloaded both parts from 'Mega' I installed Part 1, noticed that it doesn't create a DBM Folder so I had to make my own in the 'mods' folder alongside the other Kingdoms mods.

    Installed it in the there, then I installed Part 2 followed the same pathway in the DBM folder I made.

    I clicked on the Shortcut on the Desktop and I get the Kingdoms has crashed pop up.

    I've read the Manual but there is no answer to the problem, I use Windows 7.
