Bingzhou Cavalry models

So i have been playing the campaign with Lu Bu's faction when i noticed the models for his elite bodyguard. I have come to understand that the Bingzhou Cavalry were grizzled battle hardened veterans, but the models you used make them look like 16 year old boys wearing expensive armor that they stoled from their fathers. i am not trying to complain just wanted to discuss some aesthetics.

I tried learning skinning and modeling a while ago, but I sucked pretty bad at it. So I decided to stick to scripting and simple 2D art
