    Default WW1: tw

    Looking for some somewhat skilled people to help with this mod. I was thinking of using N:TW2 units and remodeling and reskinning them. If you like this idea please pm me or msn=imthefrgt10@hotmail.com aim=imthefrgt10

    They can't, air battles are impossible in the RTw engine. As are sea battles.

    the only MAJOR in i mean tactical fighting was the air battles... in the trench battles all they did was lob stuff at each other including posion grenades then when they thought it was right they did an all out kami kazi charge straight at the enemy....

    well i was originally planning an eastern front with a later addon for a campaign, and ntw would have all the tools needed for trench warfare which i have created a custom battle in ntw2 using trenches, i actually see this mod as possible and a great game even w/o planes

    you still have to ask permission from the Lordz if you can use their models and all the other stuff your gonna use for this mini mod... basically the only thing you have to change is the rifle and the hat to a helmet...

    not quite true, i would change all skins and some rifles, and if we have some talented modelers change the cannons into ww1 howiters, and *this is just a thought* maybe get a tank since LOTR:tw has modeled trolls

    Its very true. Not only do you have to use their models, you also need to use their engine which they designed to work with rifles, cannon, etc (unless you have a remarkable good coding and scripting team in your back pocket). Basically you need to make this a mod of a mod, much like RTR has generated its own mods and the like. Theres really no other way about it.

    how will you get the tank to fire its cannon and move are you modding N:TW 12 pounder into a tank shape and it fires a rocket moddled from a cannonball maybe?

    if i can get a team going, yes i will probably use the cannons modded into a tank, but as far as the units, it willl mainly be a reskin with some moddeling done the the helmets
