    Default Khwarezm campaign crash

I started a Khwarezm campaign which crashed some 30 turns into the game. Unspecified error after clicking the next turn icon. The error log ends with

    12:41:59.232 [game.script.trigger] [trace] Trigger <sitting_around_camp_vnv_trigger> fired

12:41:59.668 [system.rpt] [error] Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.

I have modded just the names lists (added many new names) but Geomod gives no errors with the additional names. I also changed Khiveh to Khiva on the strat map. I think everything else should be as in the original. Is there a known bug with the campaign?

No, there is no known bug related to Khwarezmian campaign.

It seems you made some mistake with those names and that's why you get CTD's. IIRC it happens when a character appears on the map (is "born") and gets a "faulty" name, or something like that. I had just the same problem long time ago. I advice you to check the names one by one in all related files.

Me too have never encountered problem. Just occupied Nishabur, the city where Imam Muslim (hadith scholar) was born.
