Muzio (I hope you don't mind), you're betatester of this mod right? Can you share some insights, like how's the troop balance, are missile troops worth using, is this balanced for long or shorter battles, and how good are phalanx troops...

I'll be starting one. Being a beta-testar I know the mod already, and I'm going to tweak some files to make it better balanced for a HS.
Never argue with an idiot; they'll drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

Yes i am one of betatesters.
What should I tell you? I find that it's all good: many factions have troops that can form phalanges: Ptolemies, Macedonians, Seleucids and at different levels of preparation, the clashes between the phalanges are very spectacular.

That's why I said if no one else does BTW, in case there are cavalry-oriented factions that lack good infantry units or just have poor units for AR , I'd suggest you a rule I seen in RTW hotseats that such factions can play 1 battle per turn against a human player on battlemap, or something similar. But it'd be better if this won't be the case and unit rosters are somewhat balanced.

I think there should be no problem, but I guess it'll depend whether that hotseat will be for everyone or just for experienced hotseat players. If there will be many new people that want to join a hotseat with this mod maybe a Young Bloods hotseat will be started. Keep checking the hotseat campaigns section (link in my sig) once DBM is released.

Quoting from what Housekeeper said today at the Italian forum:
"Autoinstalling ready and uploaded at. Tester for a short passed to control and to upload to other servers. It is now a matter of hours!"

    This is good news indeed!
