    using: 16x Antisophtric (ingame), 8x CSAA Anti-Aliasing (control panel), everything mayed out graphics wise ingame, 1080p resolution. NO Steam.

    2 things, one, default looks far too bright in Medieval 2, suggestions on how to fix this?
    2, the alternative launcher crashes on startup, this one. Any suggestions for a fix?

    Try GEMv2.1
    I have one other user reported to me to much brightness but I cant tweak from far so its better to use GEMv2.1 for now. Might be brightness in your system settings.

    Which launcher do you mean? Also try GEMv2.1 first or try turn off all AA in and out of game. Dont think its actually related to this mod.

    Post screen please so I can judge better.

    Not a clue why it crashed on start up.

    I replaced the file that I ttok with steam with the bmp file in M2TW folder. I saved the bmp to a jpg file and replaced the one in the steam folder with that. Final result was a blur.

    I do not know what it does so I cant tell you either. But it seems nothing you really need. Maybe you have to ask the guy that made it

    I hope you mean

    What quality has the one now in you steam folder? Do you play M2:TW over Steam? if yes there should be no problem if you have taken SS with F9 in M2:TW before and replaced exactly that one.
    I can see you have other screens there too so you do know how to make it work. The only thing you do is upload not the original one but one you replaced.
    The screen you replace should have same screensize like the one you replace it with.

    I will, the reason I use it though is it means the launcher keeps playing music after I start playing, the latin chanting is horrible when on a loop.

    Start Task-Manager and end process "launcher.exe"

    Still a pain to do everytime, especially when I can't always use borderless windowed mode.

    Worked on a fix cause for some it is to bright (see download section in a second)
    I dont know yet but maybe I get mix between the two settings, just need your feedback:

    I normally just let it run out of sound. Just takes a moment and dont need to get out of the game.

    It is not blur but your image has just a resolution of 200px × 112px
    You didnt upload a real picture but just a thumbnail or similar,

    Its just one new file for those who have brightness problems.
    I only use steam as host for my pics cause steam is not reducing their quality.
    Its looking closest to my ingame look and thats all I want to show, all other platforms I tried for upload couldnt show that well.

    works like a dream mate! I am using 3.5 evolution in my own personal project and the in game looks great, also DBM mod looks nice
