The description Last of the Romans (Ultimus Romanorum) has historically been given to any man thought to embody the values of Ancient Roman civilization —values which, by implication, became extinct on his death. It has been used to describe a number of individuals.
☧Flavius Belisarius ☧ (505?–565), one of the greatest generals of the Byzantine Empire and one of the most acclaimed generals in history. He was also the only Byzantine general to be granted a Roman Triumph.

Nice job druzhina +rep
This is my latest go at a chainmail texture.
I have come to believe that this is as good as it can get.
I am not proud to admit that for this I have done what was unthinkable to me until recently, I have increased the horizontal dimension of the texture file by 25%.
I hope you approve...let me know anyway.
Looks a lot better dude. Do you have a zoomed out version?
There you go.
The lighter/darker wavy pattern is an aliasing effect that only appears in milkshape due to milkshape's automatic conversion of my 1280x1024 texture file into a regular square.
The original texture file does not have this problem.
I have not yet tested this in game but I do not predict any problems.
Wow looks so much better. Have an in game shot yet?
The Ghulam with the spear is mesmerizing. Also, have you guys taken a look at BC's "Uyunids of Bahrain" mod? They have Incredible unit models. These should provide good inspiration for Middle Eastern units. - http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...-Of-Al-Bahrayn

"I have fought in more than 100 battle . Do you see a space of the span of a hand on my leg, chest, arm which is not covered by some scar of the wound of a sword or an arrow or a lance? And here I am, dying in my bed, like cattle die. May the eyes of cowards never sleep."

Don't know if this has been asked before, but what Religion System means? What is that?

Think they're aiming for around September 1st. Unfortunately with these types of things there is often a lot of waiting for certain people to do certain things that others can't do. It depends on how free and available the team is to do what they need to.
That said, having followed the progress of this mod pretty closely since its inception, I'd assume they're pretty close.
Thanks for the compliments.
Yes, like Larkin said we are aiming for September 1st but with some of our team still away on vacation theres no way to tell if it will be done by then or not.
Hi, I have a two small questions.
As it is stated the submod in it's first release will cover years 1100-1204. First, is it possible to play up to later medieval times after the campaign finished? And second, if it is possible, will there be late units incorporated into the mod, even when the early era campaign wasn't meant to be played in that time period?
Cheers
