    Icon4 Titanium - Introduction

    Titanium





    Titanium is a Submod of Stainless Steel that is going to improve on every aspect of the original. It will be released as 3 different time era's. The first release is for the Early Era (1100-1204). Not only have we created all new aspects, we are combining quite a few mods/submods. We wanted to create something that everyone could enjoy since SS 7.0 has stopped development for the time being. The main purpose of this mod is to create an unofficial SS 6.5. The first release will concentrate on new factions, new ai and combining sub mods. Let us know what you think

    Please comment! Good, Bad, Suggestions. Any comments are welcome

    Tentative Release Date: September 1st. (this is no promise, but simply a goal we are trying to reach and depends on the free time of the mod members)

    Sapping? Like in Rome?! I can't wait! And could you give a hint of what you mean by "improved city defenses"?

    Yes, similar to Rome sapping in that it helps you take down the walls of a settlement while laying siege . If we can get the script working right...

    Improved City Defenses: I havent actually finished this yet. I almost did but I screwed up a file and had to start all over...

    Pretty simple though. You start with slow firing defense towers on settlement walls. You can upgrade them so they shoot faster and do more damage. So instead of just having a +1 ballista upgrade you can have 3-4 different arrow upgrades.

    Those 4 are examples. We wont have all new units for first release. Trying to have first release on August 1st

    Improved City Defense shouldnt take long to finish. Another 1-2 more days. Might try and post some screenshots of it when im finished.

    so is this submod retain the recruitment system from HURB? what about units stats, from HURB too?

    The base of the mod would probably be HURB.
    1180, an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity in East Asia, it's technology and wealth is the envy of the world. But soon conflict will engulf the entire region with great consequences and lasting effects for centuries to come, not just for this region, but the entire known world, when one man, one people, unites.....

    HURB already uses a modified version of RC 2.0 stats anyway, but certainly are loaded with considerable inconsistency. though the overall results won't change THAT much.

    Yes more of a tweaking for stats. Real difference is the new animations. (Like faster crossbow reload times)
