How much information do you want on the unit card?
Hey guys, this poll was inspired by the discussion on the unit cards.
Would you like to see a unit's status displayed through a bar, or a number, or both?
And would you go even further and wish to see something similar with ammunition for units with ranged abilities?(pilum, arrows), like a bar to display vaguely how many projectiles you have left, and a number to show remaining salvos?

I go for the bars. In battle I don't really care about the specific number of men remaining in a unit. I care more about knowing the remaining strength and having a bar makes that easier to see at a glance. It also has the advantage that you don't need to remember how many men a unit had at the start of the battle to see it's losses.

I like numbers. It helps me to see more accurately the rate that my soldiers are falling, which leads to me taking accurate measures to slow that down.
A bar can lead to a little bit of a confusion. I personally prefer more accurate info instantly, in your face which would just help with better decision making.
I guess a bar would be ok for someone who does not care about individuals in a unit, but for me, I can't see myself making much use of that.
