generals suicide attacks
Hi!
I had a 3 vs 4 stack battle against the Ostrogoths. I was with WRE of course.
The first thing the two generals of the two reinforcement armies did was attacking the enemy, while the rest of the two armies were slowly advancing.
It seemed that no matter what icon i click on (offensive, defensive or shootout stance), the ally AI generals commit suicide.
So if i want to play this battle, i have to accept that two of my three generals will die, and the ally units will have less morale throughout the whole battle.
Can we do something about this?
Peace
Blas

Re: generals suicide attacks
Its a pity but yes, sometimes the AI is on suicidal mode. Advance as quickly as you can to support your other two armies. Then search for the AI controlled generals and support them with your cavalry. I don't guarantee that they will not die, but that the only way around.
Cheers.
