I request this feature. I get really attached to my daimyo and generals. The extra time per year allows more long walks on the beach with them. ^^

Uanime5, I seem to be experiencing a balance issue with the Takeda. They continuously steamroll everyone within 15 provinces by 1550. I'm not sure how to solve this, but I think something should be done. Giving the smaller clans larger garrisons might work or reducing the size of the Takeda's starting army. I'm not sure, but I know that 5/5 of my last campaigns have seen this issue. Any advice is welcome.

However, the work you have put into this mod is incredible. I even checked for historical accuracy. You really did you homework. Great job and thank you.

You can set the Takeda to a random personality, or you can download the whole package (everybody is randomized) from here:

Takeda starts with 2 general and 4 units so I don't think their starting army is too big. When I first released the update that had 24 regions I forgot to add units to 2 of the Uesugi settlements so this may be why Takeda is able to expand so quickly. I'd recommend making sure you have the latest version of this mod by playing as Uesugi and checking that their new settlements are garrisoned.

How can I download this mod, if it is even for download. I have subscribed to uanime5 workshop on steam, but there are no download links or anything. I have been waiting since the release of STW2 for a mod like this.

ps, tnx for making this mod, uanime5.

Ok, I'll try that. Thanks for the info. On a separate note, have you tried/thought about making a monthly turn version?

I may increase the number of turns from 4 per year to 8 per year after I add more regions, though I'll also increase the number of regions needed for victory (mainly because there's now 89 regions, rather than 65).

love all the work you have done first of all... as far as dewa and mutsu an adding regions... dewa could have Uzen and Ugo, mutsu could have Mutsu,Rikuchu,Rikuzen,Iwaki and Iwashiro? i know thatd be a cluster in that area but that's what its spose to be anyway right? Cut a piece of Aomori and put the Namioka there? Nihonmatsu (Mutsu Hatakeyamas) in area of the former Fukushima province. I was going thru clans and Asonuma or Shirakawa added but the others i don't know Nasu, Tamura and Nikaido. Koga Kubi and Horigoe Gosho would be kinda fun i would think----

I've uploaded this mod to gamefront:

Try downloading it, unpacking it, and putting it in your "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\total war shogun 2\data" folder.

How historically accurate are these added regions and factions? Are the region ownerships historical too, or are they along the lines of vanilla Shogun 2? Have you made the diplomacy more historically accurate between the existing vanilla clans, and have the new clans for historically accurate relations with other clans?

They're my questions Thanks in advance for a reply.

I've tried to make the regions and factions as accurate as possible however for some of the smaller clans it's difficult to find out where exactly they ruled (there's a bunch of clans in Omi but little information about where exactly they all were in 1545). I'm mainly relying on information about the campaigns of various warlords for the locations of the smaller clans (some famous battle on Wikipedia contain the coordinates of castles, though most region boundaries are a guess). The Japanese Wikipedia is also useful but it doesn't have the location of all the minor factions.

I have tried to make diplomacy more accurate though this mainly applied to the new factions rather than the existing one.
