I barely play it now... its just incredibly obsolete at this point.
    yes. mods included.

M2TW is still good imo for a while, the battle maps and the units currently out there are still better than some games still made today.

Not sure, as I never played Med 1 after Med 2 (even though I loved the OP Janisarry heavy Infantry in Med 1).
I never say never, but if Rome 2 is what I expect it to be, I highly doubt it.

Well, i hope Rome 2 will be too good to be replaced by its older version. But since i hardly play Rome 1 now, i'm probably never going back to that game when Rome 2 is released.

No, it doesn't interest me anymore. I've always used mods for it, but they don't feel that 'great' anymore.

I barely play it now! I still fire it up from time to time, and I think I will probably continue to do so even after Rome II is out.

Maybe one last campaign before Rome 2 - then it will be cast aside.

I don't play it anymore. It runs terribly for me. I can get a solid 60+ fps on maximum settings at 1080p with thousands of troops on screen in Medieval II, but in RTW? I can't get consistently 60 fps even on medium settings.

I'll be spending a lot of time with Medieval II when Europa Barbarorum II finally comes out, though, Rome II or not.

No probably not. It's already long in the tooth, and I'm not that interested in the mods anymore.

I don't think I will touch RTW 1 again. And like most people, I stuck at Med 2 and Shogun 2 for now.

I stopped playing Rome 1 a long time ago. I don't even play Med 2 anymore at all. I play almost exclusively Shogun 2, both (modded) vanilla and FoTS. I tried to touch Empire the other day and it's still fun to play, but for some reason I have a huge graphical glitch in naval battles in that game, so I also stopped playing it.

Depends on Rome II. But in Rome I the AI is an insane psychopath so no, I don't think I'll play it again. I'll play EBII on M2TW when it comes out.

The poor optimization for newer systems and the lame AI kind of scares me away from rome 1, when Rome 2 comes out it will most probably replace Rome 1 completely for me.

Definitely not...when rome 2 come out and later they will add some mods..there is no point to play it

I probably will, my laptop didn't run Shogun 2 that well so I guess I'll still play Rome 1 on my laptop.

I don't even play Rome 1 now (with or without mods), why would I continue to play it once I have Rome 2 to fulfill my need to conquer the ancient world?
