I am playing a Thera Greystoke's campaign and was allied with the Paynal while concentrating against the bloody Tahar's. Anyway, they chose to backstab me and I absolutely crushed them, putting their cities to the torch. Once I am done with the campaign I'll post the AAR, but for now it made me think of a sort of Rain's of Castamere song for my faction. I already have cowed the Uruks, who tried to start a war, into a ceasfire, (in my mind I did it by sending a singer with the song to them). Feedback is desired!

The jaguar paced across his lands
King of all he saw
All the others bowed their heads
Scared of his fierce paw
But yet he still desired
More glory, slaves and gold,
To sate the raging fire,
Of prophecies so old,
For his ancient gods had promised him,
Oh so long ago,
To use their might to serve his whim,
And conquer all his foes
All they asked for in return,
Was rivers of their blood,
And so all friends he did spurn,
Instead spilling their guts
The jaguar searched for lands stillfree,
Not caring where he went,
Until he reached the vast green sea,
A place still yet unbent,
Here he found the his great fight,
Promised since his birth,
He roared his fierce battlecries,
And charged into the surf,
He fought mightily against the tide,
But could not fight fatigue,
His struggles began to subside,
And he fell into deep sleep,
And then the tendrils of the Krakenrose,
Angered at being roused,
He saw the beast who broke his peace,
His coat bloodsoaked and foul,
He dragged him from the beach,
Where he had lain to rest,
And brought him to the very deep,
His once desired conquest,
And there he woke the proud jaguar,
So he could explain his crimes,
“Why have you come so very far?
And tried to seize what's mine?”
“I am the lord of all the land!
Who are you to judge me?
The right is mine to seize all I can,
And you're the last still free!”
At this the kraken's anger rose,
And so he did reply,
“You forget that this is not yourhome,
And it's here you shall die!”
At first the jaguar laughed and laughed
And called upon his gods
Until he saw the kraken's wrath
And realized the odds,
For the deep water blocked his cries,
And no help they could send,
For in the water, land's power dies,
And empires meet their end,
The tendrils reached around the king,
And began to crush his life,
The once so mighty conqueror,
And creator of so much strife,
He claws and jaws fought for so long,
But could not find their mark,
His bones broke and his life was gone,
And he slid into the dark,
And there he found his resting place,
The once so mighty beast
His rotting corpse only fit
For the kraken's feast.
His rotting corpse only fit
For the kraken's feast.
