    Default RNJ 2.8 patch

    Here is the 2.8 patch, it overwrites 2.6
    Only a short readme as I short on time and wanted to release it, many thx to both Yoritomo Naizen and Crociato78 for their work, rem to give them some rep, will try and put a detailed readme later

    Battlefield-Ninja Metsubushi can be found as mercs at Iga, and you can also train them at Iga too!
    New musketsmith building, if you have portuguese trade you can now copy the technology and produce your own.
    less accuate fire arrows for ashigura.
    Otomo get teppo units without portugese trade, and are the only true christian clan.
    Shimazu are now Buddhist as they was historicly.
    Ouchi are now both Buddhist and Christian.
    Mori get naval discounts, and more exp sword units
    New mines added as they was historicly.

    Many thx to Yoritomo Naizen for his input in the above changes

    Complete redo of the minor clans by Crociato78

    Now the minor clans are visable from the start.

    Overwrites 2.6 or 2.7 patch? must we to erase the map.rmw file? if not, the game freezes after choosing clan. and, by the way, the game goes terribly slow after this patch. sorry.

    Always delete the map.rmw after any changes to the map.
    2.8 overwrites both 2.6 and 2.7
    There should NOT be any changes to speed?

    Patch is working for me. I get "script error in bi/shogun2/data/export_descr_unit.txt, at line 297, column 28. can't find Ikko_Ikki_Yari_Cav.

    SO yeah...

    i just found this mod and it looks fantastic. uhm, do i only need to download and install RNJ 2.0 and RNJ 2.8 patch? are the other patches not needed?

    Install 2.0, then 2.6, then 2.8

    BiggBud the patch 2.8 isn't working for me. I get the above error so I tried deleting that unit, nope... That didn't work... I just get new errors. Need some help with the 2.8.

    Have you deleted the map.rmw? try a reinstall and then delete Map.rmw

    uhm what's with the 'play on 16-bit' part? i know how to do that, but my question is, what does it do? would it look different?

    I deleted the map and have reinstalled three times and I get the same message it just won't work.

    Ouch, try deleting the entire shogun2 folder, then install just RNJ 2.0 and test it, then add 2.6 and test, then 2.8, let me know what happens, we will get this working!

    Not that much, but does speed up game in big multi stacked battles, but you must set your desktop to 16bit for it to work.

    Ok reinstalled RNJ 2.0 works beautifully, 2.6 works beautifully, then installed 2.8 deleted map huge crap storm! Lol gives me same message and won't work have no idea why. It's really puzzling.

    Well I got it to work by reinstalling BI, then RJN 2.0, 2.6, then 2.8. Only issue now is that when I choose Shimazu it crashes lol. I'll send you my email.

    Also Dat Clan issue. The game starts with Terumune as Daimyo. Terumune lived from 1543-1585, so Date Harumune which you had before in version 2.6 was Daimyo until Terumune became Daimyo. So it should be Harumune as daimyo, with Terumune as heir then Masamune. Masamune should be on seen in 1566, because his timeline is 1566-1636. Just a slight change.

    Ok I got it all to work!! Shimazu and all!! 2.8 looks awesome, love all the new buttons, and the minor clans holding the names they are suppose to. Shimazu is great, Date lands with new mines are great, just gotta fix the family tree. One issue is Sue Okifusa is no longer on the Ouchi family tree?? Why? He should be, and he was in 2.6? SO confused about that.
    For Date Clan could it Be Harumune to start as Daimyo with Rusu Masakuni as a general, with Terumune as his heir? Just a question.
    I have only played Date, Shimazu, and Ouchi so far and everything else looks amazing. Great job Biggbudd!
