Roger, I sat around all day doing nothing and food was brought to me daily, what's to miss?

Carlisle took the flask, sniffed it and handed it back. A lack on wine during his captivity had been a small blessing.

Any ale? I could drink a barrel of the stuff.

    Roger chuckled,
No wonder you didn't want to come back. Though you might as well, we've only got some manky Scottish ale. It's even more sour than this rotten wine.

    Ugh...

Carlisle scratched at his flea-ridden beard.

    No idea.
Roger looked over at the king.
His majesty seems to make it up as he goes along.

    Carlisle nodded.

I don't doubt it. A raid turned war against a king and a valued turncoat, along with a rescue mission.

The baron sneered as he said that last part.

William nodded, content with what had transpired.

Come. We return to England. Those who fought with us shall be rewarded.

Carlisle scratched at his beard again as the Irishman approached. It was waiting for this man that had led to his capture...

He moves past Carlisle seemingly oblivious to his presence. He is talking quietly to his squire his words are inaudible.
