Problem with PE 1.6

Welll, I guess my problem is kind of unique, but here we go:

I'm using GoldEdition (surprise!) in german version. My system is patched on the latest driverversions.
Every time I install the PE on my rome installation and I try to start RTRE it says: "Error: DVD not found". But when I use Vanilla Rome GE, without any installed mods, there is no problem with the dvd. I even tried the start RTRE with BI-shortcut, but It doesn't help. Everytime I install RTR-PE, the startup failes, with that errormsg.

Dunno if that "bug" (?) was already mentioned, but I hope you guys can help me.

All the Gold Editions in other languages then english might cause problems to mods. I do remember a release of RTR PE which included the Exe too. I suggest backing up your exe files before installing and after the install is done overwriting them back. There might be more though.
