And then later on, when he reveals all his intentions, he purposely breaks that cup (Abigail) so get a sense of satisfaction seeing Will grieve for holding such a thing for a very brief time.

I remember Will and Hannibal talking in which Will says that Lecter doesn't allow Will to have anything in his life, like he wants him to be all alone just for himself (as lecter's friend\plaything).

Btw: The fight scene with Jack and Hannibal was also awesome imo. I didn't see that piece of glass coming!
That just doesn't make sense to be because Abigail had Hannibal cut her throat willingly. Why would she do that?

Have you guys seen that Richard Armitage has been cast as Francis Dolarhyde, the Tooth Fairy/Red Dragon, for the next series of this? Any thoughts? He seems a bit of an odd choice, but he is quite a good actor so it could come off quite well I reckon.

Almost as iconic as Hannibal himself. Tough part to make his own but the casting director has done a good job so far... It'll be interesting to see what he does with the part.

So I finally...FINALLY...caught up on this series. I've been taking it slow, especially once I got my roommate into it (which meant rewatching season 1 and parts of season 2) and I just finished it a few minutes ago.

That last twenty minutes of the finale were absolutely incredible. Some of the best television I have seen.

Absolutely cannot wait until season 3. June 4th cannot get here fast enough.

    Hmm!

Well, on my part i disliked the last episode of season #2, very very heavily. Not sure how based the show is on the books, but the final episode was rather too gimmicky. Maybe it felt that way to me cause the episode i liked the most was the one where the person re-appearing in end of season #2 gets supposedly killed

Overall i don't really like this series, but i am sure they did the best they could with the material they had story-wise (and the massive spoiler that Hannibal is). The tv show surely is a lot better than the movies.

PS: there are way too many murders for a show of up to now iirc 26 episodes? It overflows in that way.

This show, It's still largely over my head.

But the imagery, the sets the camera work. Kubrick would have loved this show..

Hannibal has been cancelled. Hopefully it gets picked up somewhere. Netflix would be foolish not to

Isn't surprising. Hannibal is too cerebral to be popular in the ratings.

Both Netflix and Amazon have declined to pick up Hannibal.

Now it is up to Hulu and whatever other cable channel might be willing.
