Mod crashes during initial loading screen

I have installed the mod just now, and have launched it using the kingdoms launcher app, all seems fine until it crashes during the first loading screen. Help is most appreciated. I would post the log but it is 7,5 mb, which is over the limit.

So you can start the mod, but it crashes upon the loading screen. Do you have the Sundering loading screen or vanilla MedII?
Try opening the mods/The_Sundering and run the application from there, directly.
Also, you can manually search (ctrl+f) your log, and post the errors only.
Do you have Steam? Do you use other mods?

OK, thanks for the info.
First, did you follow the installation steps here?
If so, then a corrupted install or a wrong download may be the reason. First, try reinstalling (deleting The_Sundering, run a registry clean, reinstall the mod). If still crashes, open your log file, and post the error entries here (simply search for error)

Uhm. Anyhow, try reinstalling the mod, I'm pretty sure a weird install is responsible for your crash.

Damn! It seemed like it worked, it didn`t crash while loading, but it played the Vanilla cinematic. and when it was done it crashed in the same manner.

It seems like there is a kind of mess up in your files or some files are missing. Did you follow the instructions in the thread for Steam users?
I start to run out of ideas...

That happended months ago to someone else and he solved it by completely removing the mod and installing it again :-/
The installation path was probably wrong.

hi my game crashes before it even loads the first movie. double clicking my shortcut. i have done re install twice and its not virtual store either. any solutions?

Like in a complete reinstall? If i remember correctly (why didn't i reply with the solution? ) i deleted ALL MW2 and COW files, downloaded it again, and ran the COW installations as adminstrator.

i only re-installed sundering itself as i have two third age mods installed into their own folders

I don't really know then. Just make sure you are installing in adminstrator mode. Otherwise i don't have any further tips.
