    3. Someone asked about city-view, and they said that if there was enough demand they would put it in. Mike Simpson mentioned that he personally wouldn't use such a mode, but if enough of the player base wanted it then it was doable.
    So, to a small extent - IT'S UP TO US FOLKS!
    Let's show some support for the feature I know many of us want back from RTW into Rome 2!

    Whether CA implement it or not, it's not going to be a massive feature, but if I were to add my 2 cents on how to make it more fun for Rome 2, I'd say:
    - when a building is being constructed, show the scaffolding in-place where the building will be. don't mind if there's no workers in and around it though.
    - villagers doing things other than laps of the city
    - villagers saying cool things like the units in the previews

    Just make a poll man. I agree if there's any tactical value in it and only usable for example before a battle where player have a spy in there so that player can view or make plans which will be the best way to assault the city or even to see what buildings are there already and player can decide whether the city is vaulable enough to conquer.

    If just for show then I guess never mind. People maybe will justy use the city view once or twice first time playing the game and forgot about it later so if CA will have to divert resource to make that happen if there's no practical gaming value then I guess I wouldn't mind if it was not included.

    We should show support for the more than 1 turn per year instead ....

    city view is just a non affecting gameplay feature ...

    1tpyear is a major breaking of immersion .

    I mean how noobish do you have to be, to not know how easy it is to mod TPY!? CA have promised seasons so you can mod 365.25 turns per year if you really bloody want to

    I noticed that most people want to have more turn per year...( maybe 4 seasonal turns like in S2TW) but lets first wait untill you played the game before you want to change it...i myself to would like to play in spring,summer, autumn and winter, but i understood it will be implemented anyway in R2TW, so i do not understand the real issue there... ( city view is nice, and if craig said they will implement it, if the community just has to ask for it) why not a poll ???

    No And definetly not , we do not want to have to be forced to crack the game and mod it to have decent statistics, gameplay balancements, game achievements, victory conditions objectives .

    WE NEED MORE THAN ONE TURN PER YEAR ...

    The real issue is in the game balancement and the lenght of gameplay ...

    The Shogun campaign was really short and it forced you to rush every single move to be able to stay in time with theobjective .
    Its definetly not the way its supposed to be fun a game
    The game imersion is also broke when you have generals die after 30 - 40 turns , game imersion is broken when you have a timespan that covers 4 centuries and you have 300 turns , game imersion is also broken when you have to see a year with snow , a year with spring and so on with other stupid solutions like that ...

    And if it has to be changed it needs to be done NOW , not when the game is released , because then you won't be able to change anything!

    I prefer that CA add nTPY instead on "City View" and, particularly, they add 4 seasons in the Campaign Map !

    If modifying the number of turn per year should be easy, creating 4 seasons in the Campaign map is not.
    It's strange that CA are ready to add "City View" is "enough player ask for it", but didn't listen about the 1TPY issue.
    It look like if they were autistic...

    As written above, nTPY had direct effects on gameplay, not City View.

    they seem to be actually just ignoring what made the majority of the fanbase totally annoyed with ...

    SO if the fans ask for a stupid thing like a pink tree or a city view ... they think about and eventually implement , but if the fans tell them that their design decisionis a major game imersion breaker for the almoust total majority of players , they just go silent .

    FFS, they ARRREE making 4 seasons on the campaign map! what is so bad about having a rotation of seasons with one per year? I for one will be happy to mod TPY later on, but an 800 turn long campaign is too long.

    Its not 800 , let's not say false stuff to support your claims ...

    it woudl be 568 turns , wich is exactly like it was in RTW I and nobody complained at the time ... it gived the right imersion , the right timing and the right feeling for running an empire that covers 4 centuries of growth...

    Reducing to 300 turns or less its just a manouver dued to not keep the players from playing the game too much as someonesle stated , a comercial manouver .

    Yes, I did. Not only the first few times, but very often. For me, it is just nice to lean back and watch the city you have build up over the years.

    So I strongly support this feature return.

    They NEVER said they will add seasons to campaign map !

    And having rotation of seasons with 1 per year is the worst idea I have heard.
    Season affect strategy, modifying movement ability, adding attrition, etc.
    I don't want seasons to be only a graphic environment !

    I can't think of any less useful feature than City View for me personally.

    I do find it quite ignoble of the 1tpyers to be spamming all the "I'd like this feature" threads with what they want.

    Yes. I would like to be able to watch my cities without having to be in the heat of battle. I mean what kind of resource would they even need to put in it? It is already ingame. They just put the view without soldiers. You don't have to have non stop battle.
