    Yes, I ment a ranger captain on the battlefield for all the free peoples militia units...not the casual axemen...

    But you are not speaking of the CTD bug you get when you build elven tree walls in small northmen villages, are you...? You shouldn't build them until you can upgrade these places to elven villages....

    Ok, so yep there's a new captain other than that peasant axeman for the free peoples (not a ranger though but still an improvement).
    And I believe that elven walls bug was sorted out in the last patch for LotRTW. As for my bug, I found and squashed it early this morning.
