    Default Bottleneck?

    Hi all.

    I am planning on upgrading my GPU in the future, i'll probably wait for the next gen unless they delay them for too long. The thing is, i've got an i7-950 for my CPU. Do you think this is going to bottleneck the new GPU(s)? Talking about Rome 2 here. Currently i've got 2x 6970.

    You won't see any performance increase with a new card if you're already running 2 6970s. Those can still handle anything you throw at them at 60 FPS. You'd be better off with a new CPU/Mobo.
