Fantastic film as well.
ahhh I'm glad that you gents like such music
more stuff from close period, this time some awesome soundtracks from the most classical horror movies from Dario Argento
at the time they were made this was considered something in between progressive and hard rock; in any case the atmosphere they create is perfectly fitting the original movies

New Iron Maiden track from their upcoming new album. Loud volume required Video's cool too - has lots of game references. Minecraft and Mortal Kombat are the obvious ones...

That is a great Iron Maiden song. I had the pleasure of going back stage and meeting them after a concert.
Now for something different,...Sharing the great Louisiana Culture. This is great clip that features Cajun music in the movie, Southern Comfort (1981) It features the song "Parlez Nous a' Boires" by Dewey Balfa and Marc Savoy (it's also included a part of "Eunice Two Step").
Enjoy!
Warning!!!
The sequence contains images which may offend or shock some people. Also the particular sequence is taking place in a crucial part of the film so if you haven't seen it yet, I will advise you to skip the music and enjoy the movie (linked in the spoiler below.

Here is a list about what I listen to but not exhaustive. My tastes are quite large:
-The Buzzcocks, Dead Kennedys, Shame 69 for the old punk one
- Slipknot, 25'ta Life, Downset, for the heaviest one
- Rage against the Machine, Deftones, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Murphy's Law, don't know how to qualify them, crazy may be
- Lou Reed, David Bowie, Rolling Stones for the classic one
- Jeff Buckley for the quite one
- Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, The Gladiators, for the Reggae one

The point of the thread is to actually share the music, not just the names.
For example, here is group I never heard of until the Saints were on the road to the Super Bowl. This was shared as a get hype song. I instantly fell in love with the musical style.
Clutch: Electric Worry
This is, however, my favorite song by them: Regulator
That reminds me; when I was referee back in the 90s, USSF came out with a '94 World Cup inspired referee jersey
They chose this color because no other federation used it (I wonder why). Anyway, I wasn't a big fan of it. The local referee authority said that this was the primary color and unless there was a conflict we must wear this shirt. So on the occasion I could wear black, I played this song.Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Some of the best post-modern German music by the Einstürzende Neubauten ("Collapsing New Buildings")
The lyrics are in German and contain many sophisticated puns or plays on idiomatic expressions, hence they are not completely translatable, but I shall try nevertheless.
Spoiler for Lyrics:

I can heartily recommend the Italian Wars mod by Aneirin.

PS: Bonus rep if you can name the movie references in the video
PPS: No, the song is not in German, it's in Kölsch - the only language that is also a beer.

I had a crush on her as a kid
If we talk the talk, we may walk the walk, as current as it can be ...
Let's move from one crush to another. This time, more for a love of a beautiful voice singing a beautiful song.
Chinese music are similar to other media; concern with interpersonal relationships than political or social commentary. Chinese stories are often the same theme set in different settings in time and place. Chinese music tend to be the same way and Chinese enjoy singing to their favorite songs.
Here is a nice description of the song I am presenting now. It is called Stubborn by Yun Duo.
Why is this song beautiful?
The verse in this song is a simple narration of changing attitudes from teenagers to grown-up, from innocence to reality in a heavy atmosphere. The chorus thickens the atmosphere into the mood of passions and sentiments.
One of the beauties in this song is the way Yun Duo delivering the chorus. The first chorus was presented with a tone of loss and disappointment.Together with the variations in tunings, there is also a slight change in the lyric so that the chorus will not fall into boring repetition. Instead you feel the progression – the accumulation of stiffness and so was the deepening of resentful love. I am infected by her emotions through her voices and modulations. It is a stand-off in stubbornness – one does give in to the other while the other refuse to take the reality. Memories, promises and love finally give way to stubbornness without a single word of sorry – the name and theme of the song.
The second chorus a tone of pleading with helplessly hoping.
The third chorus a loud voice with pounding force of frustration and anger.
Please Enjoy!

I'm a metalhead by default, but I know that most folks here aren't into that, so I'll post some non-metal stuff that I particularly enjoy. How about some modern American bluegrass? Trampled by Turtles is a good example of that.
I'm a big fan of Frank Black and the Catholics, especially this album, a perfect example of an underrated 90s alt rock album.
Country forever!
