Frightened Rabbit, I found out about them a few weeks back and they are now on of my favourites. If you have the chance on Spotify or something give the album "Pedestrian Verse" a listen to... songs like "The Woodpile", "Nitrous Gas", and "Late March, Death March" are really good.

I know too much of your prefered choice of music, Shanky.. .

Myself I enjoy mostly what we youngsters like to bob our heads to . A mixture of RnB, some stuff with a nice beat in it - and some contribution from the perhaps more wierd part of my mostly typical teenager mind, Florence, Fun. and some other stuff .

I'm not too sure, I haven't listened to that many like that so not much to compare it to, but it certainly isn't the worst song I've listened to. I'll give it a few more listens and let you know what I think overall.

    Thanks for pointing it out.

Classic rock with psychedelic/acid folky stuff being among my top preferences. Some protopunk, some metal, Irish folk music and fusion.

What's everyone listening too at the moment then? What are your recommendations lads?

I've been listening to the new Stereophonics album a fair bit recently. I know a number of you are Justin Bieber fans, but there aren't any pre-pubescent kids screaming like sissy girls in it so you may not like it!

Well it's been nice out so I've been playing stuff that you can still hear in the car with the windows down. Stuff like Jefferson Airplane, Deep Purple, CCR, The Kinks, Ten Years After. Yes is pretty good as well:

Big fan of all thos bands you mentioned, except Yes; could never get into their music. I've been listening to the Allman Brothers a lot lately, mostly live stuff.
