Right, here's what I'm after chaps, anybody able to help me out?
I'm interested in musket and early rifle warfare, so a time setting between 1650ish - 1890s would be perfect but anywhere around that is great. I've been playing N:TW recently but it irritates me. Battles didn't last 30 minutes and instead of being thrown into a random battle ground commanders actually picked where they fought. They think I would defend at the bottom of a massive hill that the enemy are on top of? Really?
The scope of the games annoy me. 3000 odd men is not enough.
I want to play as any country I please in that time era; not just the major powers. I'd love to turn a Milanese state into a colonial empire, for example.
I'm not sure whether the real-time battles I seek have ever been put into a game. I want 30,000 odd soldiers... hehe. I don't think anybody's ever done that!
So any suggestions?
